He took no alcohol, he could have said it was from the hangover.
He stood up again, and with each labored step, Ashier dragged his heavy legs into the bathroom, the weight of his body pulling him down. He reached the sink, his trembling hands gripping the edges for support. He splashed cold water onto his face, hoping that the refreshing sensation would alleviate the persistent ache in his head. Yet, the pain persisted, undeterred by the simple act of washing. His confusion grew as he wondered what could be happening to him, and why he felt so weak, his head ached so much.
