Kade POV The pounding in my skull is relentless, a deep, stabbing ache that makes it hard to focus. My body feels too heavy, my limbs sluggish, weighed down by something I can’t place. The air around me is cold, pressing against my bare skin in a way that feels wrong, and when I try to shift, to lower my arms so that I can push myself up, something jerks me back, stopping me mid-motion.

Cold and massive. A cold hand touches the back of my head. Just one. And everything goes black.

My ears rang like a siren that refused to shut off. I groaned softly, barely able to move. Every limb in my body felt wrong, heavy, disconnected, and cold. So cold. My spine arched instinctively, trying to curl in on myself, but... Wait... Was I on the floor? Why did it feel like ice was seeping into my bones? The surface beneath me was damp, and it bit into my skin like frost.

KAIDA REED POV My head was splitting in two. I blinked, trying to clear my vision, but the headache I felt just made everything look like it was swirling in a vicious circle. Breathe Kaida. This is not the time to panic. I slowly turned on my side, a groan escaping my mouth as the coldness of the sheets penetrated through my fevered skin. Ugh. Why is it so cold in here? Were they trying to freeze me to death? Even my legs were numb from the cold.

Agnes The cold wall slamming against my back sent a sharp jolt of pain barking through my body, but it wasn’t enough to clear the haze that was creeping into my mind. I tried to push the man away, but my limbs were suddenly feeling sluggish and weak. It was like trying to fight through the onset of a thick fog, my hands fumbling against the solid wall of his chest with no effect. My head swam, a sickly dizziness taking root, and I realized with a sinking feeling that something was wrong—deeply wrong.

I feel disoriented, like I'm in a washing machine on a spin cycle. My skin starts to prickle with goosebumps, and I can feel my body temperature dropping rapidly. My teeth chatter, and I wrap my arms around myself, trying to conserve what little body heat I have left. I was already having a severe headache. As I try to make my way through the downpour, the rainwater rises up my legs, swirling around my calves like a cold, grey mist. I stumble, my feet slipping on the slick pavement. I'm soaked to the bone, shivering, and struggling to see or hear anything. All I can do is keep moving forward, because I just can't bear staying at where i was earlier, I'd probably have to just manage to scale

This can’t happen to me. I feel my body slacken a little more, how the tingling in my hands increases, and my legs don’t cooperate to re-establish my walking and get out of here. This can’t be. I repeat it over and over like a litany. My body is cold, although the sweat on my hands tells me that at least one part of me is functioning. Unfortunately, that part is not my brain. In short, it is not my brain that is running well at the moment.

AHVI’S POINT OF VIEW} My hands are cold and they are trembling; my legs can barely keep my balance as they shake; and my head is pounding with an unbearable ache that seems to have been persistent for ages. I feel sick. I feel sick in my stomach and every part of my body.
