Only then I was able to look at my surroundings. The first thing I noticed was the smell. Sandalwood and citrus. It flooded my nose and helped ease the stars that circled my head. Jake was on the ground, his back lying in the wet grass. Standing above him was none other than my rescuer. Alpha Killian stood above Jake, his eyes a murderous shade of black. My wolf wanted to approach Alpha Killian, but the waves of absolute fury rolled off of his body made us keep our distance. Despite what happened, I couldn't help but feel terrified for Jake. To have all of that rage directed on you, from the most vicious Alpha to ever exist.

The seer was about to leave when Killian remembered something and stopped her, “Hold up.” “Do you need something, alpha?” Alpha Killian stared at her and asked, “Do you know someone by the name Nyx. She is also a seer.” The seer thought for a moment before she shook her head, “Never heard of her before.” “Okay, you are dismissed.” When the seer left, Killian fell into deep thoughts. Now that he thought about it, he realized that something was not right about that seer named Nyx. He had been too distracted to notice, but that woman had something dark and sinister around her.

Star was crying in my head, but she did her best to let her fangs and claws come out. “Do you think your little fangs and claws will scare me? I’m going to give you what you fucking want!” “Fuck you, Xander! Once I get to you, I will kill you!” Kenzo roared, and Xander’s head snapped back outside my cell. Kenzo became uncontrollable while Rico started to smoke his cigarette and was just watching.

I walked fast toward the side hallway, hiding behind one of the columns, and saw the imposing figure of Killian Blackwood standing in the middle of reception. His bare torso kept showing the open grooves from Mark's attack, and his Alpha Hybrid aura expanded through the place like a tide of sulfur. “I DON'T GIVE A SHIT IF YOU MUST SEARCH UNDER THE STONES OF THE BORDER, IDIOTS!! FIND MY WOMAN RIGHT NOW!!” Killian shouted, slamming his fist against the marble counter, cracking the stone from a single impact. “MOVE MORE MEN!! Check the neighboring packs!! Murder anyone who refuses to give a goddamn clue of what the hell happened!!” the Hybrid shouted again.

Xeon tried to explain but I held out my palm firmly and he totally shut up when he got the message. Once Kyler seemed satisfied, he threw the girl across the wall and knelt down to her level to talk to her paralyzed figure. “Pull off that stunt on me again and I will make sure to kiss you till death. UNDERSTOOD ?” he lashed out furiously such that even the hair by my nape rose. “Xeon ! The antidote,” Kyler ordered while placing his palm behind him without looking back. Xeon handed over a vial to his Alpha and after Kyler drunk some from it, he put a few drops in the almost dead wh*re’s parted lips.

Back then, her body count was off the charts. “She’s from Evermore?” Harvey squinted at Keeka. It wasn’t his first time dealing with the organization, but he was still surprised at how strange and ruthless they were. “Go together!” Kellan roared furiously. His subordinates pulled out their firearms, ready to pull the trigger at any moment. Keeka calmly glanced at Kairi, smiling, as if she was greeting Kairi. She then waved her hand, and more needles flew out. The man in front of Kairi wasn’t a martial artist—he instantly fell to the ground after getting hit by the needles.
