Eric is the first to coming. “Awnnn, Killian you're standing to welcome me, did you miss me that much?” Eric asked me. “Then who?” Arden swallowed. His voice came out small. “It was Xavier.” Kyle froze. His eyes widened in pure shock as he leaned forward. “Did he… did he do anything to you?” Arden didn’t speak. He just lowered his head again and gave a small nod. Kyle gasped harshly, covering his mouth with his hand. His eyes glistened with anger and sadness. “Oh my God…” he whispered. “Arden…” Arden’s shoulders trembled as he whispered, “Please… Kyle, don’t tell anyone.”

Erik managed to cut Kyle's arm with a clawed hand, and Rosette had to put her hands over her mouth to keep from crying out too loudly. The arm hung limply at his side, and she was horrified. She'd never seen Kyle injured in a fight. Sensing an easy victory, Eric lunged at Kyle's weakened right side and was stopped short as the right arm came up to catch him by the throat and hurl him across the arena. Eric hit one of the columns headfirst with a dull thud and slid to the ground on his chest. With surprising grace for his injury, Eric got back up and shifted to his full wolf form just as Kyle did the same.
