There are pearl lights decorations on the ceilings, providing equal brightness for the hallway and the room at the end. Pearl Lights are the rune device which activate with mana. They are connected to a single switch that has to be recharged on certain times, but they can be activated or deactivated with just a tweak of mana. They are used for, like its name, lighting, and it’s usually used indoors.

She turned her gaze to Aurelia, her eyes intense. “Daughter of the Light, open the gateway! Let the power flow! Show us the way!” Aurelia took a deep breath, closing her eyes. Come, she thought, opening herself completely. Let it come. I am ready. The reaction was instant. A pillar of silver light shot up from her body, piercing the high ceiling and seemingly connecting directly to the moon above. The power was immense. It roared like a waterfall, like a hurricane trapped in a room. The ground shook violently. Dust fell from the rafters, The walls cracked. The light flared up, blindingly bright, washing over everything and everyone, turning the world into pure white radiance.

The envoy from the Sunlit pack arrived a week later, the envoy consisted of seven men and five women with the Alpha included. The Alpha George was a tall huge chunk of a man with bluish black hair that brought attentions to his fiery eyes. He had an intimidating aura surrounding him that screamed for submission. The Alpha Lucien, his son Damien and a few emissaries were present to welcome them. Though of smaller built than George, Lucien was no less intimidating with his pale white skin, cold blue eyes and well-proportioned muscles.

The upper gates open. The answer hit the city harder than a scream. Ren turned toward Shigure. The upper gates were sealed. They were. By whom? Shigure looked at the wolf. Its mouth curved. By me. Golden lines appeared across the bridge. They formed a map of Silvercrest above us. Roads. Tunnels. The harbour. The palace. Red lights pulsed beneath several locations. Raiken moved closer. What are those? Entry points. The wolf lifted one paw. A red light spread beneath the palace.

"Leo, you know what to do." "Oh isn't this the strongest celestial spirit Leo, how lucky of us to have a match with you." The girl arrogantly said and revealed her own key. "Gate of thee Fly, I open thee Musca!" A sudden appearance of a topaz colored light blinded Jamnia. With wings behind it's back and a head that reassembles a fly, Jamnia blinked twice to confirmed what's she's seen. "I'll deal with you later." The gigantic lad coldly summoned his own key. "Gate of thee Lizard, I summon thee Lacerta!"

Its glow was almost blinding, and they knew that retrieving it would not be easy. As they approached the pedestal, a figure materialized before them. It was made of pure light, its form shifting and changing, almost too bright to look at directly. "Welcome, travelers," the figure said, its voice echoing through the hall. "I am the Guardian of Light. You have come far, but your journey is not yet over." Kai stepped forward, his determination unwavering. "We need the Light Relic to complete our mission. We must prevent the God Giant Statue of Destroyers from emerging."

The building's silhouettes suddenly became the dark night sky and the lights from their windows suddenly were twinkling. "Isn't that beautiful?" I asked when I saw a broken stoplight, the red light was blinking and the green and yellow once didn't seem to work. I thought it was aesthetically pleasing, under the gloom of the night, along the empty streets and silently passing cars. The slow blinking of that stop light seemed to harmonize with the quietness of the evening. I looked at Edgar and he was frowning at the stop light. "Pretty much could cause traffic, goodness, that should be fixed," he said and I rolled my eyes at him.

POV EMMA BELLE The Great Stargate above the Heart-Tree did not explode or hum. It simply stepped aside. Out of the white void emerged a vessel that made the Alabaster and Jade spires look like toys. It was a single, perfect sphere of Living Light, five miles in diameter, reflecting the entire history of the North on its surface like a liquid mirror.

The mountain’s spine split open before them. A scar of obsidian stone and molten light cut through the ridge, pulsing like a living heartbeat. The air itself shimmered, thick with power and the stench of sulfur and ozone. Aria could barely breathe; the energy clawed at her lungs, burning away every mortal trace left in her blood. “This is it,” Kael said quietly, voice rasped from battle and smoke. His hand still trembled as he touched the black stone. The fire beneath his skin flared in response, drawn to it like a moth to flame. “The Gate of Ash and Light.”

The silver energy was an impenetrable shield of solidified light. I walked toward the gate, my hand still outstretched. With every step, the silver pulse grew stronger, fed by the volatile power radiating from Lucian. He was the battery and I was the conduit. "The gate!" a scout screamed from above. The massive timbers of the Frost-Peak gate, reinforced with iron and ancient enchantments, began to groan. The silver light was seeping into the cracks, turning the wood brittle. I closed my fist. Shatter.
