She felt helpless and weak, and the thought of not being able to save her best friend was driving her crazy. She and Mireille called it their secret diary, only that it contained everything. Lifting the lid off, she wiped her face with the back of her palm before searching through them. Most were old notes from herself, Mireille’s late parents, and her first love.

He whispered once again to my ears. He was handcuffed and taking away. My parents Daniel and his mother came running in. My mother collapsed out of shock for what has happened to me. I walked over and picked it up and Adrian made a noise like he was going to stop me but I opened it anyway. The first page had Sophia's name and a date from three years ago and the pages were filled with her handwriting, paragraphs of tiny neat words. "This is her diary," I said. "That's not—" Adrian stopped. "I thought that was a work journal." "It's her diary." I flipped through and saw they were all dated, all personal entries about her life and thoughts. I turned to the last entry and my blood went cold when I saw the date. The day before she died.

* I got tired and bored so I started digging into Leena's stuffs. Remembering the box I found,I quickly made for it and brought the diary out. The first page was kinda boring. Just filled with lyrics and half written words. I found it hard to understand what it was all about. I flipped more pages and something caught my eyes in the middle. "...dear diary, it's dad's death anniversary today. I miss him. I wished Mom had died that night instead of him. Life is so unfair. Taking what I care for and dumping me with the least choice I could ever make, MOM."
