To shake off those thoughts, I buried myself into my heaps of documents waiting on top of my table. At about six in the afternoon, my phone rang. It was Kim. "Please come over," he said. "We'll be waiting for you." I would have wanted to protest, but since I knew he was in the middle of a meeting, I just agreed right away. Kim walked to meet me the moment I peeped in. I made a slight bow and pursed a smile, sending my respect to the small crowd of shareholders who were watching us. "Ladies and gentlemen, standing before you now is our new Asian branch manager, Miss Yen Ramos. Please welcome her into the family."

Chapter Thirty One "I still don't have any clue yet. Boss said he will take care of it." Kimberly told chloe over the phone. "Alright, be careful, okay? Or you should at least stay away from your boss." Chloe suggested. "Why? Anyway, I will be careful. Bye, I have things to do." Kimberly ended the call Chloe could say anything further. It was such a hectic day at work. Damien made everyone work like they are the one who caused him so much trouble.

"Are you absolutely certain this is an actual grimoire, madam?" Kim's glare could have burned through steel. "How the hell should I know when I can't even read Latin myself?!" She slammed her fist down again, barely restraining the urge to grab the book and throw it across the room. The doors creaked open, interrupting her tirade. Kaiser strode in, his presence commanding immediate attention. "What's the progress, Kim?" Kim scoffed, folding her arms. "Where’s Jess?" she snapped. "That bitch just handed us bullshit!"

CHAPTER 53: THE HEAD OF ANALYTICS DAMIEN: Kim and I came to the office together as we have been doing these past couple of days. The morning sun filtered through the tinted windows of my office, casting a warm glow on the glass table as I reviewed the presentation notes. Today was a special day for me. Kim was finally going to be introduced as the Head of Analytics in Carter Corporation.

Manager Kim rushed to the medical camp. Her eyes were bloodshot red with her fist clenched tightly. All the way from the village to the camp, her mind was filled with anger. She really can't accept how ridiculous their situation is. "Where is that suicidal patient?" she asked the nurse immediately. She's trying to control the riling emotions in her. She doesn't want to startle the nurse in front of her. The female nurse got startled by her sudden appearance. "You were that person who came here earlier right?"

Noah said before going back to his desk. Letting out a huff of breath and gathering all the strength she had in her, Kim got up and walked towards Declan's desk to find him sitting lax on his chair as he chatted on his phone. "Hey Declan," Kim called out his name and he ignored her. "Mr. Dean, can I have your attention please?" Kim called out again, but got ignored once again as Declan let out a whistle while looking at a picture. "What is so important that you will ignore me like this?" Kimberly grabbed his phone and snatched it from his grasp. Taking a look at the picture on the phone, Kim almost dropped the phone on the floor, but Declan caught his phone on time.

ALEXANDER'S POV "Where are you coming from" I ask Kim as she enters the house, uncovering the mask on her face I put on the light to see her directly "Well, I have gone to do some business" She releases the black tie from her hair and goes straight to the basin to wash her hands Blood fills the basin as she washes her hands "What do you do this time, Kim?” I ask her I walk close to her "common, I told you that I have gone to do some business"

She had hidden herself quite well. “What about me?” Kim realized that she didn’t have anything assigned to her. “You study. No more running around.” Dana slapped the back of her head gently. “That won’t do.” Kim shook her head stubbornly “I have to make sure it is safe for my nephew before they come.” Her priority was different, not revenge but safety. The men became quiet, vengeance had blinded their vision. “I know. I will become friends with that Emma Stone.” Kim sat up with a bright smile. No one refuted. It was a good idea.

Kim nodded. Kim is a handsome young man in his early thirties; he is vibrant, intelligent and a computer addict. He won lots of computer creation awards and trophies for being the fastest finger computer tech in San Francisco. His fangs teeth were his charm and his ocean blue eyes grabs the heart of any lady with just one stare. Kelvin joined them downstairs as he and Kim left for the company.
