Like cockroaches who had hidden away until after the blasting was over, they were crawling out from beneath rocks and out of holes, ready to flex their muscles since the most dangerous part of the Revelation appeared to be over.

“How do you know?” Raven’s eyes glowed faintly with reflected aurora. “Because she’s calling for me.” --- Global Dreamspace — Nightmare Bloom Shadows rose like smoke along the horizon, their forms shifting, trembling with human fear. With no knowledge of which way to go, I hit something hard and I black out. The next thing I know I wake up screaming in my bed, I shiver uncontrollably as the dried sweat makes my hair stick to my head. The sheets tangled at the foot of the bed, but my heart beat is already slowing because I’m at home safe and secure from any of those monsters out there in the woods. It was just a nightmare. In all the 17 years of my life, that would have to be the scariest nightmare I have ever had. I know I can’t go back to sleep after having a nightmare like that, so I get my phone out and check the time, its 2 in the morning I still have 5 hours until I have to get up. What am I going to do? Daniela's POV A black card with my name on it. That was what I had been playing with for the past five minutes, with a huge smile on my face. Funny, because no one should be happy their worst enemy had done something nice. A gift alone should be an alert to tread carefully. And yeah, I should also be worried about other things; like how this man always had access to my room and was clearly in here when I was asleep, or probably even lamenting over the very graphic and gory nightmare I had just a few hours ago about Alexander drowning me in his pool.

The heavy glass of the balcony doors didn't shatter; it disintegrated into fine, white powder. Two men stepped into the room. They weren't wolves. They weren't human. They were tall, gaunt, and dressed in robes of blindingly white silk that seemed to glow with an inner radiance. Their faces were obscured by silver masks that lacked eyes—only smooth, polished metal where a gaze should be. "The Abomination," one of them spoke. His voice didn't sound like it came from a throat; it sounded like the grinding of stones. "The Silver Spark that threatens the Great Night."

“I heard screaming! What happened?” He looked at Sarah, then at June. June lay on the floor, sweating and shaking. Dante saw the black name on her arm. “What is that?” Dante stepped closer, voice low and dangerous. “June, why is that name on your arm?” June stared at him, tears brimming in her eyes. “It’s my grandmother, Dante. She’s not really dead. She’s the Spark. She started the Market. And now she’s trying to wake up inside me.” Dante glanced at the tattoo, then at the door. Fear wasn’t on his face—anger was. “The Auditor gave us a locket to hide the glow. He never said a ghost would try to take your body.”

My own screams have pulled me out of nightmares most of my life. The guest suite is cloaked in shadow when I step inside and close the door behind me. The voices in my head titter nervously as they return, igniting my powers as Skye’s own gifts fill the suite. Marianna’s voice is soft and low as she speaks to Leona in the bedroom at the end of the hallway where dimmed light spills into the shadows, but my focus catches on the two crystal spheres on a coffee table in the cozy living room just before Skye’s bedroom, which are lit from within, swirling with childhood memories the nightmare displaced.

She snaps her fingers with her still expressionless face, as she calls out and names that holder’s nightmare, yet her somehow very salvation into the loop of the future and the seventh, where everything comes running down into a forbidden chance and emotions, she calls. “You’re her heart, but her demise, you who she should watch carefully, yet underestimated. Her darkest desire that is knocking and getting louder with each passing day and moment is the hunting spree she knows, anticipated, but could never evade.
