Nora did too, loudly, getting up on the floor and scrambling to stand again though she still hurt from the attack earlier. The woman wasn’t a woman at all. She was a vampire. The vampire drank greedily from her grandfather. Nora knew she should have done something but the man had just attacked her and she could only watch, stunned.

Shaking the thought off her head, Nora fell next to her mother, as she tried to make her sit up but her mother was weak, thanks to the encounter she had with Karen a while ago. From the look of things, Nora was quick to realize that Karen was not the same one she knew before.
