“My one might be a bit long for you but it should fit otherwise.” Halsey is about to politely refuse but Daisy adds, “It’ll make me feel better! Please, lemme make it up to you. Just come with me. It’s in my locker at the gym. It’ll make me feel better if I can help you!” Daisy is a popular cheerleader and is one of the people who seems to be genuinely kind. She has a pretty smile which is alluring to many people. Halsey has a few classes with her but they never interacted before but Daisy is known to help people a lot.

“Welcome to Vodacom, the subscriber you have-“ She cut the call taking a deep breath in then called his PA. “Hello?” “Hi Sharon, its Daisy.” “yes ma'am. Is everything ok? I hope you love the dress.” Daisy paused. “Which one?” “The red one I got you for your dinner with Mr Vale today. I picked it because it stretches.” Daisy forced a laugh. “It does. Thank you. Adrian hasn’t told me where we are going yet, I need a gift so I know what to do with my makeup.”

A smirked appeared on Daisy's lips as she said and thought of how success would taste and feel like if her company was to be ranked #1. She checked the time on her wrist watch and saw that it was already past 12 pm. "I should retire for today. Tomorrow is another day". Daisy said and soon left her office after she grabbed the mansion's document from where she last left it. Daisy saw Sasha where she was working in her own office. "PA. I suddenly recalled what PA means". Daisy muttered with a smile. She went to Sasha and ordered, "You're going to come with me". Sasha didn't even know where Daisy wanted to take her to, the only thing she knew was to follow Daisy without asking any dumb question

The woman smiled and did not mind Yvette’s attitude. “My name is Daisy. What’s yours?” Yvette blinked. “I’m Rose.” The woman covered her mouth and laughed. “You picked such a tacky name!” Yvette retorted, “Isn’t yours?” Daisy’s smile faded. She suddenly said, “I begged my friend for a long time to bring me to this party. But you look a little familiar. Have we met before?” Yvette glanced at her strangely and shook her head.

The color of her hair was like his grandmother’s favorite toffee and so silky smooth it glistened in the sunlight. Reaching through the fence, Daisy snagged two dandelions roots and all, then oddly, she ate them. She groaned in pleasure as she devoured the leaves, slowly chewing the yellow blossoms last. He reached out and picked one, putting it in his mouth. It was tartly green in flavor but also had a slight sweetness he had never tasted. He lifted his head a little higher as he chewed another. Watching her trying to reach more, a cloud passed overhead. Glancing up at the sky then back, his eyes met the protective glare of one who could only be her mother.

I remembered that I had never felt terrified around Xavier and Kai, unlike with Francis's presence, where I felt a sense of fear for my safety. "I accept Xavier as my mate, but with Kai, we're not that close," I said. "How about you spend time with Xavier and Kai and try to recollect your childhood memories? Then, slowly, you'll learn who your mates are," Daisy suggested. "So, you're telling me to ask Xavier and Kai on a date?" Daisy nodded her head. "Why are you thinking so much? Don't tell me you suddenly feel shy about asking your mates on a date. If my memory serves me right, you were the one who took the lead in flirting after a one-night stand," Daisy said, and I rolled my eyes at her

When Della opens the door, I can't help but admire her right from top to bottom. A purple sexy lace midi dress so simple but also has the effect to turn eyes especially on a body like hers. Her make up is just perfect coupled with a pair of black ankle strap heels. "Beautiful." I compliment unconsciously. Della blushes. "Do you mean the outfit or me?" she asks. "Both. Everything actually." I splutter. "You look handsome too." she comments.

I watch as D sits with his mouth against Daisy, clearly singing something and I can’t help but laugh. She’s looking at him confused as he sings ‘Lick lick lick’ in her ear, and I have to g****e the lyrics on my phone and laugh, ‘Pleasure P, Lick lick lick’. I hope she realises what he is doing. I fight back the laughter as I message Marc, and he reads his eyes widening. “D, save it for after please.” Marc looks at him and we all laugh. “What is so funny?” Daisy looks between us and I bite against my cheek to stop the laughter.

Mark was preparing breakfast. I perceived a soft cologne, a mixture of vanilla and flower, the exact type that turned heads. Then footsteps on the stairs. I looked up. Daisy. I already knew it was her from the scent. Why did I even bother looking? “Hey” she said stiffly “Hi” She sat at the table. Far end. Far from me. I couldn’t help but steal glances at her. She was wearing an oversized T-shirt. My t-shirt and leggings. No makeup yet she looked so ravishing.

***Daisy's POV.*** I get ready in a rose gold sequin bodycon gown which has a cold shoulder short sleeve and choker neck. I wear the crescent moon earrings which my parents gifted me today. As I fluff my hair, my mind goes back to this afternoon when that thought invaded my mind. I love kids and so does Theo. However, we just started our relationship and we both are so busy that I feel we won’t be able to make space for that baby. I would do anything to have Theo’s babies, but it is very early. Or maybe I am worrying about nothing.
