With the weight of impending peril still hanging over us, I cast a spell that melted the chains and ropes that surrounds our bodies. "Conrad, Aiden, stay behind me!" I yelled at them which they immediately responded. I cast a protective barrier encircling the three of us. Right in front of our eyes, a few werewolf guardians plummeted to the ground, lifeless. Some of them fought back in the name of the pack and justice, but they were outnumbered. Penelope, in her alpha form, was indestructible. She can even beat five werewolf guardians in one strike. That's how powerful she is. In the hands of the witches, she becomes a ripper.

Nora said when she saw a file in her hands. Penelope pouted sadly. "She is such a bully." She said as they entered the lift. "Oh wow. Now you get it, huh? Too good man!" She said sarcastically. "Now let's go." She said and dragged her towards the parking lot. * "Where are we going?" asked Penelope as they exited the parking lot. "Dinner," she replied. "Very informative." Penelope rolled her eyes. "I know." She chuckled. Penelope leaned in her seat and sighed. "She gave me a hell lot of work to do. And on the weekend!! I mean... who does that?" She whined and kept ranting for the whole fifteen minutes.

[Meanwhile] Penelope has been pacing for hours now, it is all ruined, all her plans never seem to see fruition and it is always the Photims, they always find their way to wiggle themselves in her business. “Mother, are you okay?” Jason asked concerned, “I am sorry, she is so strong.” “It is okay, son, we can always use those pawns to do our bidding,” Penelope chimes. “Briar and Anne Arnold are here to see you,” one of the staff announced making Penelope happy, it looks some of her pawns are ready to be used. “Let them in,” she chimes. “How are they going to help us mother, you know they are useless,” Jason asks.

Because Adrian even admitted it himself, She currently has a backer that makes him hesitant. Penelope felt excited. She could feel her revenge plan coming to fruition. She was completely unconcerned about the panic and disaster she had caused for everyone else. Especially Alexandra. She had packaged and sent Alexandra’s Grandfather’s head to her. Penelope felt confident and triumphant. Penelope didn’t notice the little changes around her. She didn’t notice the small but big movements Adrian had made. She didn’t notice the people monitoring her. Her confidence blinded her from reality. Her confidence would be her undoing.

I turned toward the window seats, preparing to make my way to my usual spot, when a voice stopped me. “You people must like running your mouths. If you used more of your brain cells than your mouths, the world might actually improve.” Everyone froze. That voice. I turned my head toward the doorway. Penelope leaned against the wall, her black bob tucked behind one ear. A small tattoo peeked out from her neck, and another curled around her wrist. She wore a cropped white top, tiny black shorts, and a bomber jacket. Her arms were crossed, and the look in her eyes could’ve set someone on fire.
