Instantly, the blue flames in the torches roared six feet into the air. The next second, a wave of agony hit Ruby unlike anything she had ever imagined. It wasn't just heat; it was a violent ripping sensation that tore through every cell in her body. She couldn't even scream; her lungs felt like they were caught in a vice. Faint wisps of smoke rose from her skin, and the veins in her neck and arms bulged, turning a bruised, inky black. "Let her out!" Dexter roared. Inside Ruby’s fading consciousness, she saw a massive, burning iron cage. Behind the bars, a giant she-wolf with fur as white as snow and piercing silver eyes clawed at the barrier.

I reply as I release my power. My hair turns red and my eyes go ashen. I aim straight for the demon's stomach as my flame eats away at his blackened tendrils. A screech of agony is given from the demon prince as I continue to blast him, my energy drains quickly as I give a worried look at Knight who's fingers have begun shooting purple sparks at the demon. Wrapping around him, and dragging him towards us. The demon doesn't realize it yet, but he has already lost.

Xenia huffed, after the forest was clear of the three brothers and the whole place looked like a war just took place with the dying fire, trees upturned and splatters of blood here and there. Lord Byers tried to flee away, but before he could do that I took a hold on him, threatening him that if I ever saw his shadow or his scent near Xenia again, Wraya wouldn’t just torch him alive with fire, but straight away gobble him up. “I can’t believe it’s you the water fairy!” Suddenly Wraya exclaimed, flapping his large wings which landed down in a gust of wind, landing on our face. Wait what? Did I hear right?

' Kisa could faintly feel the fire catching onto the corner of her clothes, emitting a terrible smell. 'My whole body will be on fire at this rate.' She was about to jump up from the couch when suddenly, a bucket of cold water poured all over her. The water extinguished the fire in an instant. Sara stood aside with the bucket in her hand and sneered, "Although you are destined to be burned to death, this is not the time. I need to have a witness to prove that it was suicide." "Hahaha… Hahaha…" Sara began to let out a wild laugh after saying that. Her laughter was eerie.

Her wounds healed instantly before she caught me and hugged my body so close to her. “I promise I’ll never let you go.” She whispered as my eyes closed. Mom. Rogue The moment I had my son in my arms I could sense everyone in the house moving to my direction in search of the powerful energy they felt. I didn’t hold back this time, having something more valuable to me than the key as I casted a fire spell in the living and casting another spell to flood the way with scorpions. I didn’t spend much time in the building, leaving quickly as I smiled when I saw the house from a distance burning aggressively as I enjoyed the view.

The wind lost its edge, no longer clawing at the walls but moving past, restless rather than frantic. Tomas noticed first. His shoulders eased as he set another log on the fire. “Storm’s easing,” he murmured. Aerin nodded. “Good.” Inside Briar’s mind, the vision came unbidden. Three flames burned in the dark. One silver-white, steady and luminous. One embered, shadow-laced, pulsing like a heartbeat beneath moonlight. Between them, a third—green and deep as old forests. The silver flame turned first. It had Briar’s face.

Drake's eyes widened as Brax’s blue flame roared to life merging with my red flame. “Willow, whatever you do, don’t let go of my hand! If we are separated the new flame will burn out.” Brax reminded me. Then a beautiful purple flame ignited and burned like a torch around us, creating a rolling inferno that made us untouchable. Brax and I walked hand in hand as we stepped forward. Drake recoiled the closer we got, then stepped to the side. “Willow, you were the missing flame?” I didn’t answer him. My focus was on Hades and sending him back to hell.

Takoa opens the door and we see Ryne, our Beta at the door. “Sorry to wake you, but we have a problem. We have gotten calls about a fire near the base of the mountain. The outer limits of our land. We have teams in route now.” Ryne tells us. “Fire?” I repeat as I get a vision. I see the room again and I feel the fire getting closer to my skin. Beginning to singe the hairs on my arm. I look down and rub my arm feeling the sensation. “Takoa, you have to hurry.” I tell him with a nod. They take off running for the borders. I can feel his Lycan Fin sharing his vision with me as they lead a group of royal warriors towards the fires.

“Willow, is shifting!” I hear Nix say. I can’t look toward her right now. Drake grabs hold of my massive shoulders and holds on. He digs his long claws into my flesh beneath my scales and begins to emit a heat that turns into fire. It burns as hot as lava. I let my own heat radiate from me. The two elements of fire mixed and soon there's so much fire and heat around us that if anything gets close it will go up into a blaze. The fire alarm system kicks in, but the sprinklers have no effect. I barely hear Nix’s muffled screams.

It was a pleasure to burn. Rave smiled as he watched the tiny blue flames dance from his fingertips—the outward manifestation of the magical inner fire coursing through his body. The heat shone dimly through the bronze skin of his face, making his long, dark copper-colored hair seem to shimmer in the shadows of the woods. The reason for the flames crouched behind a gnarled oak some fifty yards away—a vampire, stealthily watching humans at play in a grassy park below.
