Agatha stood frozen in horror, realizing the true magnitude of the danger they all faced. She immediately searched for Takumi but found no trace of him, concluding that he must have secured what he desired and fled. Rener, too, was conspicuously absent. Before her stood only Samantha, who appeared entranced as the demon extended its hand toward her.
