Guilt seizes me as the realization of what I have just done settles in my brain. When I go to apologize for my outburst, Samara decides that it is time to free herself from my grasp. “I am not a slave.” She tells me bravely, meeting my eyes with a glare in her hazel orbs. I can feel the predatory side of me threaten to take over at the challenge Samara has just thrown down. “Get her to the mansion, Brutus.” I get out through gritted teeth before teleporting myself away from the creature that has reignited my passions that I thought was long dead.
