Before her, stood a colossal wolf, towering over her with menacing intent. Its fur was blood-red and its eyes piercing with a glint of familiarity that sent shivers cold down her spine. A surge of dread seizes her as she recognizes its uncanny resemblance to the beast that plagued her nightmares. Marisol's heart hammered violently against the confines of her chest, her voice caught in a strangled cry for help. Fear takes her in an icy hold, leaving her rooted in her spot, only to watch helplessly as the wolf advances, its presence an overwhelming threat that loomed over her. The terror of the moment paralyzes her, every fiber of her being screaming for survival.

As Jenna and Logan celebrated their victory, they suddenly heard a loud roar coming from the forest. They looked up and saw a huge, black wolf standing at the edge of the clearing. The wolf's eyes glowed yellow, and it snarled at Jenna and Logan. Jenna felt her heart skip a beat. She knew that this was no ordinary wolf—it was an Alpha werewolf, and it was here for revenge.

There is just something about the dark that is so scary. I might be a werewolf but those ghost stories do scare the hell out of me. I kept imagining seeing things as we walked through the forest. A tree that looked like a giant person, a short person with a big head and no eyes. ‘Ahhhhh, what in the world is wrong with you? You are supposed to be the strongest, bravest she-wolf but here you are being afraid of ghosts,' my wolf said and I chuckled. I did that to wake her up, she had been too quiet for my liking.

Standing not two feet from her, is the most menacing four-legged creature she’s ever laid eyes upon, a massive, lean black wolf, muscles rippling underneath its glossy coat, ears pricked straight upwards as it stares at Alcina through one eye. The other eye is what makes it appear even more frightening: it’s closed shut, crisscrossed with a mangled, pale white scar. Alcina feels her heart rate quicken with nervousness. The wolf takes a step forward. Alcina presses herself futilely back against the bark of the tree she sits below. The wolf takes another step, and another, until it trots up to Alcina, at what is, admittedly, a much more sedate pace than one would expect from a lunging wolf abo

Her mind refused to cease the replay of what she had witnessed earlier, feeding into the anxiety of the whole situation. Beyond the first wolf that had entered the scene, were three others that appeared to be chasing it down. It released a terrifying roar at seeing them closing in, and it slashed at a person that had gotten too close in retaliation–their body sent flying several feet as a result. Enora had felt ice creep into her blood; this creature could kill her within the blink of an eye.

Overwhelmed by a mixture of fear and uncertainty, our hearts race as we instinctively release a desperate cry for assistance, only to be met with an even fiercer growl from the formidable wolf standing before us. As terror courses through our veins, our hearts quicken their pace and our bodies quiver uncontrollably. The ominous presence of the wolf intensifies with each stride it takes, its snarls reverberating in our ears, causing a spine-chilling sensation. The sheer dominance emanating from their alpha power is tangible, as they assert their authority, compelling us to yield.

Her clear distrust of anyone was to be expected but I had never imagined someone of her age would already possess such hatred for other people. Alastair had turned back into his wolf form. Scouted for any remaining men in the surrounding area. He made his second lap around the premises before I stopped him. Held my hand on the patch of white he had on his forehead. The dark brown wolf nuzzled my hand. Looked me in the eyes.

I focus a bit more and notice that one of the wolves is Sylas; he has to be fighting Laslo. Sylas is a huge gray wolf, bigger than Laslo’s white wolf. Laslo’s wolf is swiping at Sylas, and his claws connect here and there. Sylas twists his body and kicks Laslo’s wolf, sending it flying into a tree. Laslo’s wolf lays at the base of the tree, sprawled out. Sylas marches to the tree base and hovers over Laslo’s wolf, snarling and biting. His jaw reaches over and grabs at the white wolf’s neck.
