She pointed her finger on the door and Perry had felt something whooshed past them, her hair flying as though some small hurricane passed through.
“What’s she doing?”
“Projecting,” said Sheels simply.
“Start talking now. Don’t let me spoil the fun.”
Looking at how controlled she was now, Perry had to admit that Sheels had a point. She did change. She was no longer the same Hera who they’d faced in an interrogation months ago. Now, if she snapped, it could mean life, but she didn’t need to worry about it for a few years to come.
After all, each of them had a lot of growing up to do.
