TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE LUNA
I described the dream, the faceless opponent, the moon covering the sun, causing total darkness on earth.
Makarius pulled out his phone, frowned at the screen, then looked at me with concern. "Tomorrow’s a total eclipse, Victoria," he said softly," and it's more than just a celestial event-it's tied to your dreams."
"Yeah, well," I said, my hands trembling, "I can’t lose you, Makarius. I’m scared."
"Victoria, breathe. It’s just a dream."
"No," I snapped, sharper than I meant to. "It’s not just a dream. I can feel it."
