The male society, it seems, has already been waiting for me. The bathroom door slammed, cutting Rick off from the woman he couldn't get out of his mind and heart. Which he seems to love. She was not in the noisy room. Rick was about to give chase, but Aiden stopped him. “Buddy,” he threw a hand on his shoulder in a friendly gesture and continued with a wide beaming smile: “Hurt my sister again, I will rip out your heart and feed it to stray dogs. Aiden had no idea how much he looked like Venira at that moment. He gave him a rather hard pat on the back in farewell and slid into the hall. Rick was not afraid of Air, but still felt like the last bastard.

Refusing to be an ass, he let go of my hands and quickly took Samantha’s in a firm shake. “In the flesh.” He revealed his dazzling lady smile that had me rolling my eyes heavenward. What a traitor. He was going to pay for this. “I am Samantha.” She smiled dearly at him, “Of course, the Undead Sister.” He added up causing Samantha to cackle up. I wish I shared her sense of humor. And notice the sarcasm. “Right. Sounds like fantasy.” She accompanied her words with a little giggle before looking at me.

It wasn't that much of a whisper, because the others turned their shocked, confused faces to her. "Are you out of your mind? Here we are, planning our attack to avenge what was done to Cadence, your daughter, my niece, and you have to go?" Luann shrieked, pressing her lips together to suppress her anger. But the sudden jutting of her hands told Sonja she was failing miserably. She wasn't even taken aback when not even a second later, her sister conjured an energy ball and threw an ice blast in her direction. "Don't you fucking start that shit with me!" Sonja told her sister, surprising everyone with her choice of words, as she countered the attack with a fiery blast.

I whine "Baby sister. Babbyy sisterr. Babbbyyy sisterrrr." Adonis starts singing.

"Eliza, I went to Tenezia specifically to get a blessed pendant for you as protection. It's worth several hundred thousand dollars, and I got two, one for each of us." I jerked awake when I heard the familiar voice. When my younger sister, Denise, placed the pendant in my hand, I realized I had been reborn. I immediately touched my belly, and I felt a sharp pain in my heart.

I would've died if a colleague of mine hadn't come looking for me when I couldn't be reached. When I regained consciousness, I told Mom what happened. All she said was, "The fact that Amy treated you that way goes to show just how much of a failure you've been as a sister. You must've pissed her off with the things you said. Otherwise, why would she hate you so much?" All at once, I felt as though I'd been plunged into an icy pool of water. I was chilled to the bone. "Even if I'd been the worst sister alive, did that give Amy the right to kill me?"

Amber threw herself against the bars repeatedly, her hair matted and her clothes covered in grime. "How can you do this to your own family, Evelyn? Let me out! I'm your sister! You can't just abandon me here!"

“You’re being ridiculous. After everything we’ve been through, you’re questioning me over some silly little pills?” “Your sister could be carrying our child because you said you couldn’t have kids that’s what I’m talking about.” The words tasted like ash in my mouth, and I couldn’t help but think of Grace again, of how small she looked sitting in that fertility clinic. “I just want to make sure I have all the facts. Before I look your sister in the eye.”

Mom and Jorge's scheme was full of flaws. Diana had been living with Henry under my name and identity so as to keep him from noticing anything unusual. He probably did not even know about the existence of such a plan all these years. But if I were to go to Henry, all of their lies would fall like a house of cards. However, I never went to look for Henry. Diana was my younger twin sister. If she was happy, then I was delighted too. I always believed that we should treat each other with sincerity. Since Diana was my younger sister, it was only natural that I give in to her demands.
