The Billionaire's Baby Bargain

The Billionaire's Baby Bargain

Even thee trees are bent and twisted and barren, only covered with spindly sticks that do a poor job at providing coverage for the crows that flock from them. Even though the smog that hovers like a still smoke in the air is heavy and unmoving, the gate that the driver is talking about clearly stands out. It’s a massive black gate made of steel with spear-like pointed tips that are bedazzled with glowing red gems. It’s almost mesmerizing, eventually I have to pull myself away out of a sudden feeling that the jewels have eyes and can not only see me, but see my soul. “They want to search the car.” The driver says in a hurried panic.

I really liked the story but HATE the ending, too much left hanging. I don’t think this was a good ending to the book even if there is a sequel. So now I’ll wait for hopefully a next one so there’s closure to so many unresolved issues.

is this book finished? I am getting near the end and where I'm at, there is a lot to wrap up in just a few chapters. I think this is a great story line, it has me anxious to find out how it will all out

Redeeming Alessandre: Claiming the Billionaire ice Queen

Bridge. Another turn. But eventually even her memory started slipping. Too many identical roads. Too many shadows. Too many deliberate routes designed to erase orientation. Hidden. Controlled. Untraceable. The realization settled coldly into her chest. Then the car slowed. Ahead, through the darkness, something emerged. A gate. Massive. Black steel embedded into concrete walls that blended so naturally into the surrounding terrain they almost looked grown from the earth itself. No insignia. No warning signs. No visible cameras.

“It’s easier than the damn gate.” “Good to know.” Nodding to Tess, he moved out behind her as they booked it across the yard to the single steel door. Brody knelt down by the pad on the door, Tess almost touching his back as she watched. “Let’s make this quick. I don’t like being out in the open like this.” “I’ve got two possible choices here—are there two or three lights on the top?” Frowning at Grayson’s words, Brody looked over his shoulder feeling as if he was being watched. “Three, two lit up red beside each other the one on the right not at all.”

Rise of the Supreme One

Rise of the Supreme One

“What you saw on the surface, are the structures that are built mostly by the visitors here to connect and perform trades in the sea.” “Visitors are hardly allowed to come this far. It’s because our conditions are special, that’s why everything was so smooth and easygoing.” “Show off their strength, in which way?” Kalen was confused. He wanted to ask but quickly shut his mouth, as his answer was delivered generously to him in a way he never expected. A bright light was the first thing that greeted his sights like a movie sense was flipping over. A huge gate that was decorated colorfully with flowers faced them. From the contrast quality and the glow that it released, it was apparent that it

Mother, May I

Mother, May I

They’ve breached the outer walls, their armor and skin gleaming, their weapons soaked in the multi-colored blood of the evil creatures they’re cutting down. “We need to get inside while they’re occupied,” Rowen says as we run toward the gates. “Before reinforcements show up.” “Anyone see a way in?” Alexander asks, scanning the structure. The gates are obvious—two massive obsidian stone doors, smooth and polished to a mirror shine. They gleam in the combined glow of hellfire and angelic light. You can see where they’ll part, but there’s no handle, no lock, no seam to manipulate. The clash of war echoes around us, the sky full of cries and steel. I see the four Thrones fly out to meet three fi

Rise of the Rejected; Bred by the Mafia CEO

Rise of the Rejected; Bred by the Mafia CEO

“Perimeter north face. Code 7. Passive Breach. Check the sensor data.” The main screen switched from financial projections to a live feed of the main black gate. The night was dark, illuminated only by the expensive, upward-angled floodlights hidden in the landscaping. I leaned closer, expecting a stray animal or perhaps a delivery drone that had lost its way. Then the figure came into focus. A small, dark shape crumpled at the base of the gate, one hand weakly touching the steel. “Zoom in” I ordered.

My Lord Alpha

My Lord Alpha

" the other voice rebuked. Unable to stop himself, he placed his hands on the stone wall and stole a peek view, over the edge of the last stone. He grimaced at what he saw. Just after this stonewall was a grand hall. Giant structures made of limestone were carved into stone. Like the twenty-foot-high stone throne and the hundred steps that led up to that throne seat. A huge light shone upon it like a spotlight from above, illuminating the surroundings. Beside it was a gate, made of solid bronze, it was locked securely by a gigantic padlock. No doubt it must be the official gateway to the underworld for souls or visitors, as the case maybe be.

How does this book have such low views? This is a masterpiece! This might be my first time reading a werewolf story so zealously without missing any details. Such a breath of fresh air and unique storyline from the other books in this app. The alternate universe, the timeline, everything is so good.

When I saw the title "The Lord Alpha" , I was like 'what the hell is this book about?' It never disappointed though. Wayne and Candice so much reveals how twisted our fates could be at times and I kept imagining how it'd be if I suddenly uncover my spouse was a mermaid or something weirder even...

Mated To My Brother-In-Law

Mated To My Brother-In-Law

Chaoticwriteri fell for my boss
We paid for our ride and alighted from the cab. “Good luck, ladies,” the cabman called after us, tossing his card. “Call if you need help. Dangerous creatures are always lurking around.” “Thanks for the heads up,” I replied with a tight smile and reversed away. Kayla stepped toward the towering steel gates engraved with DARK VALLEY. A warning sign screamed, “DANGER! Keep out.” As she raised her hands to open the gates, bright security lights snapped on, bathing us like suspects in an interrogation room. The large gates crept open. Two heavily armed men in combat clothing approached us, boots heavy against the pavement.

The Last Light in the Dark

The Last Light in the Dark

The next day, the observatory's official social account announced that Lucas had discovered a new star, and he had named it "S" Countless comments flooded Serena's post from the previous day. "Wow, it's true. That's pretty impressive, Serena!" "Did Professor Thorne see your post and name it for you on purpose?" Just then, Lucas walked through the door. "Wilma, did you see? I named the star 'S.' It stands for 'seven' in light of our anniversary." I looked up at him coldly. "Then what's going on with your assistant? That's not what she said in her post."
