I knew none of these guys, none of them looked like me, all of them smoked and they all carried the same air of self-importance around with them. I had no idea what Steve's idea of hanging was, but so far it was really dull. From behind his sunglasses, it seemed like he wasn't even looking at me. With such a level of disinterest, I couldn't figure why this guy would want me around. Something just seemed really off, and my buzzing head alerted me of that.
