Toby gulped in fear and started to urinate in his trousers as he couldn’t take his eyes off of the thing that stood two inches apart from him. The thing had raised its large hands to strike Toby, who had already closed his eyes, prepared for death, before it looked at the jersey he was wearing and started to scream with different voice pitches at the same time, causing it to run into the denser part of the forest. Toby ran as fast as his feet could carry him and arrived at the cabin to meet his friends who had obviously experienced something horrible. ‘‘Guys, where’s Eucharia?’’ Toby looked around, ‘‘tell me!’’ his eyes opened wide as bad imaginations made their way into his mind.

The room froze, silence stretching taut as a violin string. Ariana's eyes widened, mirroring the fear I had seen the first time I transformed in the woods. Scott glared at me, his eyes flashing."I will let this one slide." Scott's expression softened. "My siblings and I are the ones who are scared by the students here," he said. "But you're different."

And me, I was already gulping down my saliva, recalling Tania's stare. "She saw me. She's coming for me. I know she's coming for me." I began to tremble, unable to forget the death stare. "Hey, relax. Nothing like that will happen. I'm here with you, " Antonio assured me. But I was just too scared to think straight.

Jiro’s jaw clenched, his thumb brushing over the tender spot on my cheek as though he could erase the pain. “I’m so sorry,” he said hoarsely, his voice thick with guilt and anger. “This never should’ve happened. I’ll make sure he never comes near you again. I swear it.” I broke then, my chest heaving with sobs as I buried my face against him. The fear, the helplessness—it all came pouring out. Jiro held me tightly, his arms wrapped around me like a shield, his presence anchoring me as the world spun.

Since no one could see it, it looked like Akihiko was doing it. Suddenly, Akihiko’s mother comes into the room and screams. The ‘Yokai’ on seeing the mother flees after dropping the classmate. Akihiko, who was scared to even talk, looks at his mother in horror, his mother grabs his hands, and they leave immediately. After getting out of their apartment, Akihiko stammers- “I-I-I-I… D-D-Didn’t…” “I know. I saw it too.” “R-r-really? Y-you… be-be-believe me?’ ask Akihiko unable to cry because of the horror he faced.
