I made it back to the room they’d stashed me in just as my head began to pound. Ghost stood at the bathroom door, a scowl on his face. He was reaching for the knob, his hand mere inches away. I reached past him and wedged the door open. It took a bit of maneuvering to slip inside without touching him, but I managed. Wasting precious seconds, I quickly undressed and sank into the tub. Letting the bubbles conceal my body, I kicked back and let time resume. The door swung open, and Ghost stormed inside, a silent hurricane that sent goosebumps scattering across my flesh. I flicked my hair behind me, letting the damp strands cascade over the lip of the tub.

Someone who knew him well enough to call him out if he was losing his grip. Caroline agreed to meet him without hesitation. She watched him over her drink as he fidgeted in his seat, pushing food around his plate like it might rearrange itself into an answer. “What’s wrong with you?” she asked finally. Ben took a breath. “I think my house is haunted.” Her eyebrows shot up as she chewed, but he didn’t stop. “The ghost watched me in the shower.” He made a vulgar motion with his hand. She choked. Ben winced but barreled on. “It got quite the show. I mean, full frontal. Very educational.”

I call ghost, he got more than one skill, and opening closed-door virtual and real ones are one of his many skills. He uses his key locks tools and messes with the door for a bit until it opens. Finally, I walk down with ghost behind me, I find a small girl laying naked on the floor. She's thin, too thin, her blond hair match mine only hers is dirty and matted on her head. Her blue eyes are hardly open, I can see bruises all over her fragile body. Taking off my shirt I cover her quickly and pick her up leaving this hell behind. "You're safe now baby sister" I whisper in her ears she closes her eyes letting darkness take her.

The ghost mother was nowhere to be seen. Following the nurse's line of sight, I ran down the hallway. I spotted a public restroom at the end of the hallway when I turned the corner. The restroom was also one of the places where the negative energy was strong in a hospital. There were many spirits roaming about at night. I gripped my blessed sword in one hand and a few talismans in the other as I dashed toward the restroom. However, just as I passed by a ward, I heard someone exclaim, "Where are you from? Why are you hiding in our bathroom? You almost scared me to death!"

I come out of the bathroom, thankful Martha left my clothing from yesterday both steamed and smelling like fabric softener. The woman should be nominated for sainthood. I'd call the Vatican myself if I had their number. I'm positive I barfed on myself last night, but confirming it will cause me to die from embarrassment, so I won't. I step back into the room, and their bickering stops as their eyes land on me. Gaston has a smirk on his face, and Phantom looks peeved. “Tell this idiot you're not leaving with him. He seems to think you are.” Phantom glares at Gaston.

Then, without a second thought, he joined her in the water, slashing at his own wrist. As the blood mixed with the water, Grayson's vision blurred. In his final moments, he saw me—there, standing at the edge of the bathtub. His face lit up with a wild, desperate joy as he tried to stagger toward me, calling my name. "Honey," he cried, his voice full of longing. I stared at him, my eyes cold and distant, a disgust so sharp it cut through everything. "I'm not your honey," I said. "Not in this life, not in the next, not in any life to come. Not ever."

I met his concerned gaze and replied, "He's okay now, he just has to go for check-ups occasionally." Suddenly, Jasper's panicked voice filled the room. "Ah! Mommy, there's a ghost in the bathroom!" he shrieked, bursting out of the bathroom. Micheal stopped stirring and turned to Jasper with a playful look on his face. "A ghost? Are you daydreaming?" he teased, his eyes sparkling. Just as I prepared to explain, Kian emerged from the bathroom, a towel wrapped around his waist, his muscular chest glistening with water droplets. My heart fluttered as I sensed an unspoken tension in the air.

The air was stale, and the shadows cast by the faint light seemed to writhe on the walls. I called out for Roxy, but my voice was met with an unsettling silence. The bathroom door was closed, and I assumed she might be showering or tending to herself, but the absence of running water only added to my growing unease. A faint, metallic scent wafted through the air, making my heart lurch with foreboding. My mind began to conjure every worst-case scenario as I approached the bathroom door.

But they all felt so fucking real. Jesus! The thought of having sex with a ghost made me sick all over. My stomach knotted as a full-blown terror took root. A fever ran down my body and my skin gallop with goose pimples. "Do you see her?" his question brought me back to reality. I nodded slowly. "So those times I see you talking to yourself, it is her you are talking to?" I motioned. "Jesus!" he exclaimed. "You need deliverance with serious prayers oh!"

I gasped softly, stepping into the dark silence. "Cilia..." A soft voice called out to me, I flinched backward a bit, glanced around but saw no one. "Ha ha ha ha ha..." A heavy masculine voice laughed loudly from inside the garage, turning off the lights and slamming the door shut. I spun around, looking at the garage door, wondering if someone just entered. "Cilia..." The voice called out again. "But that sounded so creepy, so familiar like the voice in my dream." I said, gulping a large quantity of saliva, still glancing around.
