They were members of the Silent Prowlers Pack. Milla was startled by their large numbers. She dropped the knife she was holding and led her members to run away. Olivia had shifted back into her human form and came to me. I finally shifted back to my human form, too, since Milla and her members had left.

It was sleek, dark gray, and looked strong but it was smaller than Kaden’s massive brown wolf. Kaden’s wolf let out a deep growl, showing his sharp teeth before lunging again. Kellan’s wolf tried to dodge, but Kaden tackled him hard to the ground. They rolled over each other, teeth snapping, claws ripping into flesh. Kellan’s wolf managed to bite down on Kaden’s shoulder, but Kaden shook him off like he weighed nothing.
