The stranger didn't respond, his calm gaze fixed on the two men as he stood still. The tension snapped like a taut rope. The tall man lunged first, his movements clumsy in his panic. The stranger dodged easily and hit him hard in the side. The shorter man, still holding his groin from the earlier kick, tried to charge at the stranger, but his pain made him slow. The stranger quickly knocked him off balance and sent him crashing into the wall.
