"We don't want any trouble," Scott replied, trying to appeal to reason. "We're here to free these innocent people who have been unjustly imprisoned. You don't have to follow these orders blindly." Vincent laughed coldly, showing no signs of backing down. "I follow orders because that's what keeps me alive, unlike you, who will soon be dead," he retorted before swinging his weapon towards Scott but he was quick to slide left. Vincent groaned as he got up from the ground. He dusted his pants and smiled again, narrowly avoiding another incoming assault. Then, Cohen retreated into the cabin. Vincent Hale, the second-in-command of the fifth battalion who was supposed to be dead over a decade ago after Mira killed him except that he was right here as healthy as the horses.
