I should have known you’ll still be clinging to him like a fucking leech.” Beck’s expression darkened immediately. “Unfortunately for you, asshole." Myla looked between the phone and Beck, her brows furrowing. “You know him?” Beck didn’t take his eyes off the device. “Yeah, I know exactly who this piece of trash is,” he spat out, his voice shaking with pure disgust. “He is Commander Richard Voss.”

“My dragon and Arden’s wolf could feel that his human side was nearly gone and his animal was becoming unstable.” Shock ran through me as the Goddess nodded slowly, a single tear spilling from her eyes as she spoke. “Yes, he had gained the Curse of the Beast.” She brought her hands up to her chest, looking like she was hugging herself to suppress the pain in her eyes. “He rejected the pull to a Mate I had presented to him, and turned his back on me completely… he wanted you no matter what Bond you had already accepted in your heart and was willing to cut me out of his heart to get what he wanted.”

"And I think you're attracted to me too." The beast chuckled, a low rumble that resonated through me. "You're a bold one," it growled, its eyes flickering with a mix of amusement and desire. "Very well, little one." With a swift motion, the beast reached down and undid its belt, letting its pants fall to the ground. My eyes widened as I saw its massive cock spring free, standing tall and proud. It was thick and veiny, pulsing with a life of its own, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement and nervousness.

“They’re circling.” A thunderous growl tore through the stillness. From the shadows, it emerged, an elite magic beast, hulking and grotesque. Its chitin glistened with black magic, and its horns curved like blades. Eyes glowing crimson locked directly on Aaron. "Move-!" Victor shouted. The beast lunged. But Aaron hadn’t frozen, he’d already sidestepped, blade raised. Yet Victor was faster. In a flash of metal and instinct, Victor leapt between them, driving his sword directly into the beast’s open jaws.

Energy pulsed and wavered into the space between us. “I will find your sister and see if she is worth saving,” I let him know. Beckham convulsed and then suddenly went still. The darkness retreated dragging with it a phantom of dim dark shapeless light, as it returned to my feet and deposited it there, immobile. I turned to Wyatt, “The first installment of our vow,” I said. The Beast growled in approval from within the confines of Wyatt’s body, his skin bristled as he pushed back with the urge to shift.

That was when I realized those eyes weren’t Knight’s, so it was his beast all along. “I can accept anyone calling me that,” he continued. “But my mate… my future Luna… will call me by my name. Only my name.” He leaned toward my neck, lips brushing the skin lightly, making my breath shatter. “Or,” he whispered, “you can give me a daring name to claim me with.” “There is no difference between a beast and a monster,” I muttered. His grip tightened dangerously. “Do not provoke me.” Taking in a deep breath and at the same time desperate to break the moment, I blurted, “But a beast needs a real name. Like Knight has his. What’s yours?”

And all of a sudden, like a wave it hit him... The sensation of his mates blood being drawn. Any control he had of his beast was gone as in the next few seconds he had trasformed completely with low growl. The elders all stood up and stepped back as the beast ran through the room and out of the meeting hall. Jessebelle stood up her eyes wide with fear and confusion before her knees
