It was one of the most heartwarming things I had ever witnessed. Then my phone vibrated with a text. I picked it up, casually at first… and then froze. It was from Rayne. ‘Could you please meet up with me at the entrance of your street? I’m in a white Lexus LC. Please come as soon as you can, it’s urgent. I’ve neglected my duties to you long enough but not anymore. From now on, I’ll be running to you and I’m going to make up for every single thing. I swear it on the blood that runs through my veins.’

My hands moved to her hips helping her move faster and within a minute we both came hard. Rayne’s body fell forward onto me and I pulled her into me kissing her forehead. Rayne had been waking up just about every hour needing to be taken care of since she was in heat. Conner about an hour ago left for a run with Hunter and Caleb and I was on Rayne duty which was completely fine with me. This time Rayne didn’t fall back to sleep and I wondered if she realized that Conner wasn’t in bed with us anymore. “Reese.” Rayne said my name like she was wanting to make sure I was awake before she started talking.

Ralph “And I'm doing this again, why?” I asked Rayna, placing down the crate of weapons I had brought down from the truck. She shrugged with a smile and her arms folded, “I just wanted to spend some time with you. Is that a bad thing?” I let out a sigh, wiping my sweat off my forehead, “I had plans today.” “What plans are more important than I am?” she raised a brow, following behind me as I made my way back to the truck.

He cried glaring at him. But he rolls his eyes back on him " You are going and that's final."He marked sealed his words,got up and left,leaving the angry Collins who was killing him with his eyes.Who cares. Not him probably. ~ Raymond was sitting inside watching a football match when his phone rang .He picked the phone and check the caller only to see a private number popping in the phone screen. He pressed the icon button and placed it on his ear."Speak."He said .And that seem to be all the command he or she needed as the person began to say his or her reason for calling.

“I want to see my father.” The air shifted. RAyNe didn’t react immediately. He simply watched her, his gaze as sharp as the blade he always carried. Then, after a beat, he straightened, rolling his shoulders. “Alright.” Nirvana blinked. “Really?” “You think I’d refuse you today?” His smirk was lazy, dangerous. “I’m not that cruel.” Her heart did an odd little flip..relief, confusion, something else she didn’t dare name. But then RAyNe’s gaze darkened slightly. “But first, we’re going shopping.”

Peace RAYNE'S POV Waking up with the streams of early morning sunlight shining brightly on my face. The whole atmosphere was peaceful. I wasn't able to see Mrs. Lawns last night, because I was so tired. I got up lazily into a sitting position and yawned tiredly. I heard a knock on the door. "Who is it?" I asked. "Good morning ma'am, this is the head maid." the person said from outside. "What do you want?" I asked lazily.

I slammed the door shut, leaving Carla alone in the foyer. "Where’s Rayne?" I demanded the moment we were alone. "She’s in the clinic fighting for her life. For you, as usual," Aaron spat, ripping my hand off his neck. He paced the small room like an idiot. "While you’re out hunting in the woods, she’s paying the price for your survival." I frowned, the confusion cutting through my irritation. "What's that supposed to mean? She never risked her life for me."

He was bringing me into his world, and that meant something. “What’s the occasion?” I asked as I joined him by the window, picking up a piece of toast. Hunter’s jaw tensed. “Rayna’s back.” That name punched the air right out of my lungs. “Rayna?” I repeated, even though I’d heard him clearly. He didn’t look at me as he poured coffee into two cups. “Yeah. She called late last night. Said she’s got some intel, but she didn’t give details. She wants to share it in person.”

She replied. “I need a name.” He demanded. “Marcus Walton.” She whispered. “When was the last time you saw him?” Liam asked. “A couple of years ago. I ran into him at a charity function. I normally don’t do those but this was a special one. One of my client’s kids had leukemia and it was for her benefit.” Rayna explained. “And what happened?” He asked. “He asked me out. And I declined. Then I started dating Kaine.” She replied.
