There was a chant of victory from one of the witches which was sounded through the town. The witches launched a hot pursuit of the werewolves as the plan was to destroy them completely and take over the kingdom. However, as they chased the werewolves, they were oblivious to their back. Connor had devised a war tactic of dealing with the witches by dividing the army into two. One of them was to observe the turn of the war. Since the whole army of the witches was focused on chasing a sector of their army, they seized them from behind. Connor was at the forefront.

Sorex raised up his leg and slammed it against the rib cage of Vicoliz, pushing him meters away, but Vicoliz was quick to recover. Vicoliz stretched forth his palms and started blasting white energy flames at Sorex. Sorex got hit by some, and he was able to dodge some. "Atlasss girte" Vicoliz yelled and hundreds of thick green vines sprouted from the ground and started attacking Sorex on its own..... The two witches, Naomi and Amaka, who were watching the fight were amazed at the number of Spells Vicoliz was able to master within just two days. "He is truly the Action god" Naomi mumbled.

The humans came with drones and automated tanks. There are a few on the ground, but they are leading legions of twisted rogues, wolves who have been modified beyond the effects of the Hellsbane virus. These wolves feel no pain, some even have the ability to camouflage and “disappear” only to reappear several feet away, with their claws at someone’s throat.

the witch’s voice was smooth, almost mocking. I tightened my grip on my weapon, stepping protectively in front of Abigail and Zion. “Let us go,” I demanded. The witch laughed, a cold, hollow sound. “Do you really think it will be that easy?” Bastian stepped forward, his eyes glowing with the fury of his tribrid nature. “You don’t want to test us,” he growled. The witch’s smile faded, and she raised her hand, casting a spell. A wave of dark energy surged towards us, but Bastian moved faster than I had ever seen. He deflected the attack with a swipe of his hand, the energy dissipating into the air.

All the wolves looked stunned to see their queen glowing green like a witch. "Mate? Witches will not have mates. He is a wolf. You are a witch. There is no way he will accept you. Wake up," Wanda tried to brainwash Kyra's witch. But Kyra's witch shares not just Kyra's body, but her emotions as well. So even Kyra's witch loves Kaiser immensely.

"Talking to the witch when you should be taking what she knows." Everything happened too fast. Draeven launched himself at the witch, his corrupted claws extended. She threw up a shield of shimmering light, but he tore through it like paper. I heard her scream as his claws raked across her side, saw blood spray black against the snow. "No!" I didn't know why I shouted it. Didn't know why my body moved before my mind caught up. I crashed into Draeven, sending us both sprawling. My warriors stood frozen, confused, caught between orders and instinct.

She leaned against her locker and smiled at me "Jaimee what did you do?" I said looking at her suspiciously She shrugged her shoulders "well you know how the school is holding cheerleader tryouts today.." "No" I interrupted "no jaimee I'm not trying out for that witches team" "come on Naomi, you know you're good. You cheered for five freaking years then we move here and now you don't wanna cheer" I leaned my back against my locker "you know why, I'm not trying out for this team as long as Alexis is captain; I tried out last year when we first moved here and she sprayed shaving cream inside my gym shoes and bag I want nothing to do with her or her stupid team"

Sungul grinned proudly, “To know that you’ll soon have a familiar in your grasp.” I’ve seen other witches wandering around campus with theirs. Random floating objects or a slew of different animals saunter around with their witches. Some were as small as a pixie while others stretched high towards the ceiling, towering over the lot of us. There have been moments when I’ve thought what mine could possibly be. “Do you have one?”

Since the war, there has been nothing else mentioned in our history books. “Well, hundreds of years ago, if not more, wolves and witches used to be allies. We helped them and they helped us. That was until a newly shifted wolf had lost control over his wolf, resulting in accidentally killing a child of a witch. Both witches and wolves have a weakness against each other. For wolves, we are defenseless against witches in our wolf form but immune to their magic in our human form. For the witches, one single bite from a wolf is fatal.” Eric answered, keeping his eyes on the road. “How are wolves immune to a witch in human form?” I asked, not understanding how that was even possible.

The strongest relieve themselves by judging even more of the weakest. The genuine alpha, Kratos, felt frenzied. Although the casualties by the traitor of the species have ceased in these two weeks, the vampire attacks have not stopped happening. The witches, on the other hand, showed no interest in this war. It was leading both of them to extinction. And Kratos' murderous violence wasn't helping to keep the species alive at all.
