My wolf ! Noooooo !

*River* The thrum of energy courses through me as I lead the pack through the forest, our paws pounding against the earth in a synchronized rhythm. The scent of pine and damp earth fills my lungs, blending with the adrenaline that surges through my veins. Each leap and bound sends a thrill through my wolf, a heady mix of urgency and determination. I can feel the bond with my pack tightening, a shared purpose binding us as we race toward the Lycan castle.

“Are you okay? Who are you speaking to? I ask, a bit worried. “It's a voice in my head, she calls herself Lyra. I know you might think I'm crazy and probably need to go to an asylum but it's the truth” “I believe you”. I say smiling at her while finally closing the gap between us, I reach out to her once again, patiently waiting and praying for her to take my hands. Just as she reaches out to me, I hear the ruffling of leaves nearby and then a different scent hits me. My instincts to protect her kicks in and I quickly tell her to get behind me while abruptly scanning the area for rogues. As expected, a couple of wolves jump out of hiding and begin circling us, their intent clear as they grow

Feral wolves who attack without a reason or prior warning. I turned towards the forest,my eyes searching for Alexander. As I ran towards the fray,a chilling realization stopped me cold. The howls weren't random. They were organized. When I reached the border,a wolf caught my attention,his fur was as dark as night,and eyes as crimson as blood. A voice echoed in my mind,deep and unfamiliar. “Finally. It's time Lea,you can't run anymore.”

In the blown window, a brown she-wolf crouched half inside, breath hot and rotten, eyes intelligent and hateful. “Out of my house!” Jake bellowed. The wolf weighed him, then lifted a muscled forearm as he fired. Rounds sparked off hide and bone. Zak and Tara piled in. “Smart bitch,” Jake snapped, still working the trigger. “She’s not going down!” Zak barked, stitching a burst. “Body!” Jake yelled. They dragged fire off the skull. The she-wolf shrieked, rocked, then vaulted backward into the yard and vanished into the dark.

Gerwulf yelped, holding his arm up in defense trying to protect himself from more blows. Hylda attacked him, slashing the air like a mad woman. Eloise finally found the opportunity, biting Delmar's hand hard and screaming for Gerwulf to run. At her words, his head snapped to the side, their eyes locking. Both of them stood as if time had stopped, Eloise unable to understand what was happening as he began running towards her. An earth shaking howl erupted from him, causing crowd goers to fall and drums to tip over. Even Hylda and Finn held their ears in pain. Drake looked up and looked at her and saw the questions across our face. "So I have a theory. I believe that we can tell which wolf belongs to which alpha by their eye color when they are in wolf form. The Red Wood pack I think has red eyes while they are in wolf form. The Red Wood pack is one of the larger ones that takes up the most of this territory here and the other larger one I believe is called the Cross River pack and their eyes are blue. There's another pack called The Moonlight pack and I believe their eye color is yellow and lastly The Black Sand pack their eyes are green. "

There was a tale passed through generations, reaching the 21st Century, about a group of werewolves’ special mutation that brings out dormant abilities from a family’s genetic line. They were said to be marked and blessed by the moon goddess for they were the first of her followers. They were given the title of Legacy Wolves, keeping up their tradition and passing on their special traits through their children.

She on the other hand looks from the wolf to my alpha with a mixture of fear and anger, she hisses something

Aiden Razor was in control while I watched what was going on. Razor surrounded Lexi on one side while Diesel was on her other side. Razor looks at the wolves surrounding us. “ What are these things? They smell like regular wolves but something is off about them.” Razor asked. “ I don’t know. The first time Lexi was attacked Luther and Melissa said something about rabid red eyed wolves.
