INICIAR SESIÓNMAYA’S POV Things were different here in the Moonlight Pack. Aside from the beautiful buildings, they seemed to be living in the future, unlike the Mountain Pack. The development was all thanks to the Lycan King. I knew that without being told. Alpha Damien was supposed to develop his pack also and not chase after maidens in the pack. “Thank you for showing me around,” I said to Beta Kierra. We both just stepped into the mansion. Lycan Rasmus made her show me everywhere. “You’re welcome,” she responded after hesitating for some seconds. Now, I knew my way around the pack. I could decide to go to the woods, training ground, restaurants, and even the town hall, all on my own. From the look of things, I was stuck here with Lycan Luthor in his pack, even though I didn’t know the plans he had for me. It seemed better than going back to Alpha Damien. “I can see you had a nice time,” Lycan Rasmus’s voice caught up with me. I paused and waited for him to catch up with me. It felt like the right thing to do. The hallway where I stood was spacious enough for werewolves in the mansion to pass, so I wasn’t obstructing anyone’s way by standing in the middle of it. “Look at me,” Lycan Rasmus ordered. Slowly, I turned around. I didn’t plan to look into his eyes. I only wanted to face him with my head bowed. I shouldn’t be told to tread carefully before doing it. “I said look at me,” he spoke in a deep, husky tone. I had no choice but to have my eyes on his face. He wasn’t smiling, and I couldn’t be so sure I hadn’t done something wrong. I ought to have looked at him the first time he ordered. He brought out a sword from his cloth, and at the sight of it, I gulped. He might have found out that I was the spy, and now, dying by his sword was inevitable. I found myself on the floor within the twinkle of an eye. He did make a move, and in return, I took some steps before I landed on the floor. Beta Kierra was right here with us. “She gave up before I even started,” Lycan Rasmus mentioned while I was trembling on the floor. My heart was about to rip off my chest. “You did mention that Alpha Damien used to train you when we spoke. Did you lie?” he asked. “No,” I managed to mutter. I knew not giving him a response in time was a punishable offense. “Even a seven-year-old would defeat you with what I just saw now,” he cooed. Alpha Damien’s mistress didn’t tell a lie after all. All the trainings were nothing but a waste of time and my energy. He wasn’t actually training me. He was taking away from me. Beta Kierra helped me get back on my feet. I didn’t ask her to help. I hadn’t figured out why Lycan Rasmus went from almost attacking me with a sword to starting a conversation with me. “I know that you’re an Omega, but you have to start training,” he said. “That was to show you why you need to start training. If he was an actual enemy, he could have killed you just like that because you aren’t skilled,” Beta Kierra said to me. She remained standing next to me. Her words made me realize that Lycan Rasmus hadn’t actually discovered that I was the spy. He only did that because he wanted to know how strong I was. His eyes were on the sword in his hand. He paid no attention to Beta Kierra and me. He succeeded. Now I knew how important it was for me to start training, even though I was an Omega. “Get to it right away,” Lycan Rasmus instructed either of us. “Here in my pack, you have to train even if you’re an Omega. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a wolf,” he went on. I was ready to get on the training ground and begin work. I loved to train and even used to look forward to training sessions with Alpha Damien, until I started collapsing in the middle of it. A long time ago, I ought to have known that his training sessions were doing more harm than good to me. He was always draining my energy in the middle of it. It explained why I always passed out. “Aside from pretending to train you, what else did Alpha Damien do to you?” Lycan Rasmus inquired. I had just finished thinking about him, and Lycan Rasmus asked me a question that had to do with him. Later today, I should ask Beta Kierra if he could read minds. “He made me participate in rituals that drained life out of me,” my response to his question. He did a lot of evil things to me, but I would rather not talk about them now. “Are you sure that isn’t having an effect on you till now?” he put it to me. “I don’t h…” I stuttered. I hadn’t been able to get my heartbeat back to normal. He really scared me earlier, and I wasn’t complaining. I couldn’t say if all that Alpha Damien did to me wasn’t affecting me, but I guessed it wouldn’t matter since I was about to start training. I ought to be able to get back all my lost energy. “Beta Kierra will be in charge of your training for now. When you learn the basics from her, I’ll pick things up from there,” he announced. What Lycan Rasmus was up to, I still had no idea. First, he rescued me, and then he took me in, took very good care of me, and now he was willing to train me. “She can’t stay here with us. It’s not possible,” a feminine voice echoed. I did look in the direction it came from.
RASMUS’S POV “The goal is to train her and not actually injure her,” I said to Beta Kierra’s face. Maya asked me not to address the situation, but I couldn’t ignore it. I didn’t want a repetition of it, so I liked that I was addressing it. I knew she was only trying to help Maya, but she needed to go easy on her. “I apologize. I didn’t mean to leave her with swollen lips and bruises,” she apologized to me. I thought about asking her to apologize to Maya, but Fred said there would be no need for that. Nonverbally, I dismissed Beta Kierra, leaving only Maya and me in the ward. Who could have thought Maya would spend time here in the sickbay today? The Doctor said she would be out of here in no time, and that was good news for me. I didn’t like that she was in pain, but there was nothing I could do about it. I ought to have told Beta Kierra to be careful with her on the training ground a long time ago. “Do you need me to get you anything?” I asked Maya. My eyes were back on
MAYA’S POV Again, I was here. Training had become my favorite thing to do, and it was no news anymore. Spending quality time with Lycan Rasmus was also my favorite thing to do. I’d pick one over the other, and anyone could easily guess the one I’d pick, right? The morning air was cool. It was the perfect time to train. Days ago, I trained under the hot sun in the afternoon because I didn’t want to be idle. I might do that again, but it definitely wouldn’t be anytime soon. I walked up to Beta Kierra. She’d be training me today. For a reason I knew nothing about, she wasn’t smiling. She wasn’t wearing her usual calm face. Could it be that a werewolf had pissed her off this early in the morning? “Good morning, Beta Kierra.” “You're late,” she replied. I wasn't late. I arrived two minutes early, but I wasn’t ready to argue with her. She clearly wasn’t in a good mood. Perhaps she woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. This was my first time seeing her like this. “Sorry
MAYA’S POV Both of my eyes were on him while he slept like a baby. He looked so peaceful while asleep, and I could watch him sleep all night. He fell asleep a few minutes after we started cuddling, and I couldn’t blame him. With all that we did in bed tonight, he deserved to sleep. I still couldn’t believe that Lycan Rasmus and I actually made love to each other, and for the first time ever, I genuinely enjoyed having sex. Since no one said yes to me giving a backstory, I’d just relive the moment. It all began from the moment I walked into Lycan Rasmus’s room just to check up on him. I didn’t regret doing that. He didn’t show up on the training ground in the morning or at the dining area for lunch, so I thought to check up on him after lunch. About four days ago, we were both in his room to dance, so it wasn’t my first time in his room. I insisted on us using his room because I didn’t want the domestic workers stealing glances at us while I was at it, or I’d be shy. We had
MAYA’S POV I tried so hard to stop myself from screaming while he slid his dick inside me, he kept on thrusting while he was still inside of me and my moans intensified. His kisses were wet and hungry, his hand kept fondling my boobs and it got me hungrier for him, even though he was inside me already. All his ways had been driving me crazy, I couldn’t wait to have his dick in my hand or my mouth at the moment, and gently caress his dangling balls too. He continued brushing his lips against mine aggressively, then with his right hand, he choked me gently and pulled out. Our eyes locked and it only made him brush his lips against mine aggressively. He caressed my boobs and it made me look forward to when he would penetrate fully again. It seemed he wasn’t ready to stop foreplay. “Damn,” I muttered. He knew the right places to touch. “We’re getting there, I need it more slippery this time,” he moaned into my ear. I had been wet from the moment we started this but it coul
DAMIEN’S POV I told Kendra to do all of this on her own, but she insisted on involving me in every part of the process. If she wanted company, she could have picked one of the domestic workers to do all of this with her. Her parents wanted something loud, something that would be the talk of the packs, but it wasn't the same with me. I tried to talk to Kendra, but she was clearly on her parents' side. She wanted what they wanted. “What do you think about the colors?” Kendra inquired. She must have assumed that I had been listening to the conversation she was having with her stylist. Physically, I was here with her, but my mind wasn't. I ought to be in my room taking a nap because I was unable to sleep all through the night, but here I was in the living room with her and her stylist. I cleared my throat while I thought of a response to give her. “The first color is perfect,” I said. Kendra's eyes were literally piercing my skin. “And what is the first color?” s
RASMUS’S POV I stepped in and I wasn’t surprised to see Maya in the living room with her eyes on the television screen. I made sure to return on time so we could spend time together. Beta Kierra wasn’t with her, she must be in the middle of something important. “Hi,” I said after I got close to her. It was my way of announcing my presence. “Welcome, you’re back early,” she mentioned after her eyes landed on me. She looked excited to see me, and that didn’t make me feel bad. “Yes.” “How was your meeting with the elders?” she asked. I knew she would. “It went well, those old men had something to say as usual.” I didn’t want to bore her, so I spared her the gist of what went down between the elders and I. I put one of them in his place today, but I didn’t think it would interest her to know. She would definitely get bored at some point. It felt like time wasn’t moving so fast today. Dusk was still here, meaning I still had hours before bedtime. It was the same for Maya.
DAMIEN’S POV My fists remained tightly clenched. I hadn’t woken up on the good side of the bed, and everyone in the mansion had better be well-behaved today. “Get me the Beta and the head of security,” I ordered the guard behind me after descending the stairs. “Yes, Alpha,” he responded. My
MAYA’S POV “Be sure to take the post-pills tonight,” Alpha Damien said as he threw my clothes at me. Post-pills had become the bitter medicine I had no choice but to swallow. If there was one thing I hadn’t run out of for months, it was post-pills. I got dressed, already knowing it was time t
MAYA’S POV “When you’re done here, you’re to scrub all the toilets in the mansion,” a guard snapped. I didn’t forget for a minute that I was supposed to be scrubbing the toilets and not here on the training ground, but it was what Alpha Damien wanted. “This is a waste of time,” I muttered af
MAYA’S POV “Faster, Omega!” a warrior barked. He obviously wasn’t an Omega like me. His voice made me flinch, and my arms trembled. Good for me, the tray stacked with food in my hands didn’t find its way to the ground. The smell of roasted meat and herbs filled my nostrils as the plates ratt
