After quite some time, I’ve received a reply so my smile was so big and bright. Grant: Yes, I’m already sleeping by now. I smiled even more and slightly laugh at his playful remark. I also turned off the lights and covered myself with the comforter. I remember the guy a while ago. Am I going to tell Mama about it? What if he’s a bad person and killed me? As I slowly got used to the warmth inside, I pulled out my phone with shaky hands, clinging to a sliver of hope. Prince Eli just rubs my back as I think he needs the comfort too. I have the curtains drawn as it is easier to focus with artificial light, but the damn curtains are not closing properly. A stream of moonlight is entering the room and throwing me off as it is distracting. I mutter under my breath, "Damn curtains", and walk over to shut them. As I let go of Prince Eli to walk over, he grabs me by the arms, holding me back. In barely a whisper, he mutters, "a moon-ray". I'm just getting angry at this point. "A what".

Just moments ago, I accepted a delivery order. My task was to pick up the order from the drugstore and deliver it to Jubilee Heights, a gated community. I was about a mile away from the drop-off location when I saw the order details. The customer, Ms. Irina Upton, had purchased special protection product and added a note, saying, "Please deliver it within 30 minutes. You'll be getting an additional tip. Thanks." It was noon. What was the color of Light’s eyes?” I asked. “Bright silver, shining like the moon. They darkened and brightened with her mood. What about Darkness?” Alec cocked his head. “The blinding yellow-orange of the sun. Sometimes it was hard to look him in the eyes, like looking into the sun. Strange given he’s Darkness. I would have thought his eyes would be dark or like the moon.” I frowned.

"You okay?" Lucas asked gravelly, slightly narrowing his eyes as it adjusted to the darkness. The right part of the room is dark. Only the faint light of the machine kept the door visible. On my left, the window made it well lit. Lucas' face was brightly illuminated with the light coming from his laptop screen. Suddenly his bone structure was improved, highlighted by the glow of his computer.
