Autumn was staring at him now with amusement. "Autumn, do you promise to be the season of his life? See what I did there? I said "season," he said with a grin, "Did you?" "Yes," Autumn laughed. "Good. So do you promise to be a good wife: keep to your husband, love and care for him; be there when he needs you in both good and bad times, adore the boy, the prince, and the king in him? Are you ready to be the ruler of his heart and home?"

That's a promise. Things are about to get interesting.

The weather was now colder than when Anna started attending Medrano High School. When Anna entered school, the weather had just turned to autumn, and the air was still a little hot in summer. But now, in the air, there is always a faint cold mist that makes people get goosebumps. Through the window, the weak light of the sun crept through the small slits of leaves imprinted on the glass, forming dim points of light. Anna stared at the tiny spot of light in the window glass with fascination. She felt them like little fireflies that glowed in broad daylight.

He went outside into the woods, where no one was around. From the top of his lungs, he screams with joy in his voice—the scream echo in the woods. The birds flew out from the trees after hearing the sound. He thought about his family members That he lost in the battle. He begins to cry. He stood outside for hours crying For his fallen clan. He removed all the Sadness out of his heart and vowed to himself to rebuild his family. Winter was coming soon. Winter is one of the worst weather for the clans. They need to prepare their food ahead of time. Because the animal hides in the Winter, so it is hard to find food. Ondo knew this; he plans the following day to go out and hunt.

“Autumn, can you take care of the company for a month? There is something I need to take care of,” Ace walked into Autumn’s office and spoke. Autumn’s brows knitted, and she massaged her nape slowly, she responded saying, “I can. But I won’t, and you know why.” “I know that you are getting married soon. I will make sure that I finish everything way before then, I promise,” Ace soothingly said but Autumn shook her head.

I could still feel it under my skin—like a signature, like a promise, like the moment a match thinks about being struck and decides it wants to be fire. “Paper,” I said softly, the word leaving a temporary fog on the window. “Promises.” And because I refused, on principle, to be the first to look away, I stood and let the city look back until dawn found us both.
