I shake the thought from my head and look back to where Ramon was. In his place is a massive wolf. Its golden eyes look me over and it sucks in a deep breath. A scar runs over its left eye and a small V has been torn into its right ear. I can only assume those marks come from a previous fight from years before. I swallow hard...really hard!

I pause, my eyes widening, finally getting a good look at it for the first time. It’s not just a simple mark—it’s intricate and detailed. A fierce black wolf, Elijah’s wolf, etched into my skin like a tattoo. The fur is ink-black, but what catches my breath is the wolf’s eyes—they glow gold, flickering almost like they’re alive, just like the painting. I gasp, stumbling back, touching it with trembling fingers. “No way…” The gold in the wolf’s eyes flickers like embers, sending a shiver down my spine.

As she was confused, suddenly a rustling sound came. Everyone looked at the place where the sound came; another pair of eyes with honey mixed with golden tints. 'Where did I see this pair of eyes' When that wolf came to light Bella, saw a little bit lighter black color, which almost passed like a gray-colored wolf with honey-colored eyes which held golden tints. She wonders why these wolves have strange eyes, who have the golden color in their eyes. Bella thought to herself, but she couldn't think where she saw this pair of eyes, no matter how much thought, she couldn't remember, so she just stopped trying to remember.

Whimpering sounds and deep growls go off and I see the super huge black wolf stand and glower down at the limp bloody wolf. I gasp loudly in shock and its ears twitch. The black, familiar wolf turns around, its hulking form heaving lightly as I meet gazes with its extraordinarily glaring eyes. My breath hitches as my eyes trail over its hostile ambiance. Bloody face and baring dentition. The rage…like a red tornado swirling in its orbs as it keeps staring at me. I get distracted by closing in hurrying feet only to turn and see more wolves. They don’t have red eyes…so they must be his Pack warriors. Two wolves I know too well come to either of my sides; Zana and Zainab.

A vast grey wolf wanders around, sniffing, it lets out a loud growl. For a moment, I closed my eyes. I can hear the wolf walking toward me. I open my eyes. My mother has a look of fear on her face. She slowly shakes her head and holds eye contact with me, motioning for me not to move. The big grey wolf slowly walks past me. He is ragged and worn and is even missing one of his ears. I've never seen such a ferocious animal. I tremble where I lie.

I nodded. “Well, they usually have almost the same physiques as normal wolves, except for their all black eyes. But these recent ones have more dark veins around their body, and they have dark red eyes.” Flashes of what I saw last night before all of that chaos immediately came into my mind. Those red, wild eyes behind the leaves… “I think I saw one of them,” I said to the second in command.

Regina Opening my eyes, I came face-to-face with a giant black wolf, its penetrating brown eyes locked onto mine. Its fur was sleek and glossy, reflecting the moonlight that filtered through the dense forest canopy. I study the wolf and notice that its eyes are not red (a symbol of a rogue wolf) so it isn’t a rogue or evil wolf but its eyes are unique. They are of different colours. One is a deep green and the other, the colour of a storm cloud –grey. This wolf feels strangely familiar to me though.

Every time my eyes landed on those uneven ears and the rough little paws, memories came rushing back whether I wanted them or not. **** "You are making them backwards," I scolded him with a smile.
