“Morning, Bri. I’ll have…” he began, stepping closer.
“Kibbeh with cheese, lemon, and a tall espresso,” she finished without hesitation.
Thomas raised an eyebrow and smiled.
“That’s right.”
“I already know your tastes,” she said playfully. “Almost like a wife.”
He chuckled softly. He liked Brígida. She was a great person, one of those rare people who make you feel at home. She was the niece of Penélope’s father.
