“Not until she says you can.” Fear rippled through the crowd. Some tried to crawl back. Others cried. A few begged. None of it mattered. Ethan turned away from them and walked back into the mansion. Up on the balcony, Lily stood frozen. Her fingers were wrapped tightly around the iron grill behind her, knuckles pale. The screams below had faded, replaced by a suffocating silence. When she heard footsteps, her breath hitched. “Lily.” She turned slowly. Ethan stood a few feet away, his shadow stretching toward her under the balcony lights. She didn’t move closer. She didn’t move away. Her eyes were wide—not with hatred, not with anger—but with something closer to fear mixed with disbelief.

I suggested as he made himself comfortable on the couch, completely ignoring my concern. “Nah.” He smirked, grabbing the TV remote. “Look at this—she was watching a horror movie all alone. What a dumb choice.” He laughed to himself as the movie played—a shadowy forest drenched in eerie silence, with trees looming menacingly on both sides. “Jacob—” Before I could say more, heavy footsteps echoed from the hallway. Bianca emerged from the darkness, broom in hand, dust smudging her dress. Combined with her messy hair and the eerie glow of the TV behind her, she looked downright terrifying.

I staggered quickly on the stained white sheets that was thrown on the grass path leading toward the couple. I followed the large footprints till my eyes landed on Benjamin. He stood, his face frozen in some kind of horror. His eyes enlarged and his lips almost parted. It was a parody of the famous scream painting. As soon as our eyes met, I could see the fear scurry across them before it was replaced with annoyance. His lips morphed into a thin line, an unimpressed look in it. “Who is he?” “Where did he come from?” “Is he drunk?”

With my trembling hands, I grabbed the handle of the door, and it had just opened when Bell's scream froze us. I furrowed my eyebrows and turned back only to see her pale face with widened eyes. She covered her mouth with her hands and panicked. We followed her gaze and stared at the sink. The sight I saw sent chills down my spine. Blood was flowing instead of water from the tap, which had blown us all away. I choked in the air as she showed us the blood across her lips. "I told you, Bell. But still, you didn't listen to me."

His parents attended an important dinner function at the Moonstar Hotel by the Bay View Area and they told them that they might come home late. A slight breeze blew from the West. Old folks used to tell in their bedtime stories by the fireplace that this is an ominous sign. They say that vile creatures hunt for their prey during these times. Mark knew all about this since he is an avid fan of mystery-horror stories. Yet he told himself a thousand times that evening these are just figments of his wild imagination. Nothing horrible is going to befall his parents. They are both good souls and God is watching over them from above.

His forehead was furrowed, as if someone didn't like what he saw. "You done?" He nodded once. He came closer to me and offered his hand. I immediately reached for you and stood up. "Who is he?" He was looking at David. Eyes were cold, nothing can be seen but indifference for the person in front. "Is he with you France?" David, now also standing. I nodded slowly. "Raxon Bermudez, right?" "Yes." "David Ardiente." It reached out its hand. But Raxon just glanced at it and then turned to me as if he had no intention of accepting it.

He casts a quick glance my way before growling at Lucas. "Payment first", Jack growls. "Right," Brian says over on my opposite side. He has filthy blond hair, and sunken eyes, and is shorter than Jacki. "We require our fee and petrol. And lodging as we recharge and recuperate in preparation for our next gig". I never realized how peaceful humans look when they are in the depths of deep slumber. Just by looking at one you would think all well within the world, and maybe it is but not in my world. As I watch Sky sleep I realize two things, one being that I have finally embraced the fact that I'm a nonhuman and the other is that for the first time in my life I am truly scared. For the last few days all I have been feeling this intense fear, gut wrenching fear that at any moment one of the demons after me would come and kill the love of my life. Hence why I have been watching him sleep and basically following him around for days now.

Bill didn’t even spare her a glance and just continued on walking. “You are scaring me. Why are you taking me here? Are you a vampire? Are you gonna suck my blood and leave me dead here? Gosh. Or are you going to bury me alive here?” Her body was frightened of her thoughts. She was with a stranger, in the dark, at the cemetery, Whoaah! It’s a complete setting for a horror movie. “Yes. I will bury you here if you don’t stop talking. Will you please shut up? You are exploding my ears.” Bill was obviously running out of patience.
