My mouth watered at the sight, rushing over like a child I beamed in excitement. “That’s the eyes of someone who loves good pastries,” the blonde haired woman behind the counter stated, in her purple pinafore she placed another set of doughnuts under the casing. “Welcome to Freddies, which cravings do you want satisfied today?” my eyes found the name tag, Freddie. “Freddie? You’re Freddie?” I ask not expecting her to be a woman. “The one and only,” she smiled widely, it was warmly to see her so excited while serving pastries. I would come here everyday to brighten my mood.

“We really haven't.” “We should remedy that,” Freddie said, nudging my arm with a grin. I raised a brow. “What, like right now?” “No time like the present.” He leaned back against the railing like this had been his spot all night. “Cassie Monroe. The girl who broadcasts like a pro and takes cherry slushie showers like a champ.” I narrowed my eyes. “You mean the slushie you schemed?” He held up both hands, mock-innocent. “Allegedly.”

Freddie could see the glazed look in her eyes as she pushed her breasts together and grasped the tips between her fingers.
