Immersed in her tasks, Gwyneth dedicated herself to working throughout the day, taking only short breaks for lunch. It was late afternoon at five when she finished her work. "Bring me the evening gown," Gwyneth instructed over the landline. "Roger that, Ms. Glen," Wanda replied. Shortly after, she brought an elegant Hestia-style evening gown over. "If you secure the project, I'll double your bonus this month," Gwyneth offered her assistant as an incentive. Wanda gratefully accepted it. She left the company after Gwyneth. Surprisingly, she ran into Hayden at the banquet.

Tito can't believe he is allowing this but he wants to enjoy it. Gwendolyn gasps like she's losing her breath, she grabs her bag and leaves the office. She takes a deep breath outside. "That b*tch!" Gwendolyn curses and brings out her phone from her bag. She decides to send a make a quick call. "I have a job for you, I need you to follow someone and kill her, no, no, don't kill her, rape her to death, do it tonight" "Yes, Ma'am!" The voice from the other end of the phone replies and hangs up.

"Do you really have to go? I could just ask Silver to ask someone else to do your work," Gwendolyn flicked his forehead and raised her brow. "That's being unfair Evander. Let me finish my work then let's have dinner after. How does that sound?"

I give her the instructions on what she needs to do. I watch her walk out of the shop. I have a terrible feeling that all of this is going to come crashing down around me. I see Meadow pass Gwen on the street, watching her as she goes. Gwen doesn’t even seem to notice Meadow, so excited with her spell. When Meadow comes in, she looks at me. “So, what did the Bitchy Beta want this time?” She asks. “She brought me what I needed to finish the spell.” I say, watching as Gwen gets in her car and takes off.

We must find the necklace before it’s too late.” Taylor knelt beside Gwen, and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “Don’t worry, I won’t let you down,” she vowed. “We’ll find the necklace and use its power to finish what I and Scarlett were not able to complete. Aiden won't know what hit him.”

Just as she turned, Wendy’s voice stopped her. “There’s no need for you to leave,” she said, reaching for her purse on the couch. “The one who will be leaving is me.” Tessa stopped mid-step, glancing back warily. Wendy walked toward the door, her heels clicking softly against the floor. As she reached Gendry’s side, she turned her gaze to Tessa, her sharp eyes scanning her from head to toe.

“Isn’t it rumored that High Chancellor Flint was the last person to have captured a boar?” Gwen shrugged at Mr. Howard. “Well, you closed the gate. What was I supposed to do? I got bored, so I kept myself busy… Then I remembered you said fifty points to whoever brought one in, so…” she glanced down at the animal. “Here!” I couldn’t help but shake my head. So, this was her plan. “She absolutely earned those points, Academic Master!” Kira called out from somewhere in the crowd. “Wow, Gwen! Nice job!”

I was sure they had made an error somewhere until I discovered my job was the worse out of the bunch.

Nonetheless, the result was not what Gwen expected. After lunch, they searched all the way from the restaurant to the lobby of the resort. Alas, they did not find it. After nearly an hour of searching, Gwen sat on the sofa in the lobby of the resort with disappointment. She looked at Yannie, who was squatting on the floor, trying to find the pendant. "You don't have to look anymore. Maybe…this is my fate." Fate wanted her to lose Luke's gifts one by one, slowly diminishing his existence from her life in the process.
