I Married My Mate's Enemy

I Married My Mate's Enemy

Tired authority clung to tradition not because it believed in it, but because tradition required less thought than adaptation. The citadel still stood. It still functioned. It still smiled politely at itself in the polished reflection of its own permanence. But beneath that surface, something essential had shifted, and I could feel it in the way doors opened a second too slowly and answers arrived a fraction too carefully. The question was no longer if I would stop. It was when.

Thus far the book ... was compelling but disappointed that there is no ending to the novel. I planned on reading another book after this but with this experience why would I since there might not be and ending to that one as well! Bummer! Please do better so you don’t loose customers in the future.

Omega Rebellion: Shadows Of Power

Omega Rebellion: Shadows Of Power

"It survived because it worked, and the things that worked deserve to be treated with the respect of things that have proven themselves." "And the things that tradition produced that did not work?" Arin said, and her voice was steady in the way that the voice of someone is steady when they have both something personal to say and the discipline to say it as an argument rather than as a complaint. "The Omegas who were taught to make themselves small. The Betas who were taught to wait for permission before using what they knew. These were not the failures of individuals. They were the products of what tradition required, and the things that tradition produced that we are calling failures are th

The OutCast Luna

The OutCast Luna

People from all walks of life came together, united by a shared desire for progress, while honoring the wisdom of the past. Through tireless conversations and a genuine willingness to listen, we found common ground amidst the sea of differences. We discovered that tradition was not an immovable monolith, but a tapestry woven by generations, each thread contributing to its vibrant whole. And change was not a threat to be feared, but a natural evolution, breathing life into our traditions and carving new paths for future generations.

Mated to My New Stepbrother

Mated to My New Stepbrother

If I looked him in the eye, then maybe I would say what I had in my mind. “Your ways,” I said. “They’re different from mine. That’s true. But more than that, your pack does not respect change. It does not welcome new ideas. It only clings to old ones, even when they no longer work.” He said nothing. I turned to face him. “How do you expect to move forward like that? How do you expect to grow?” “Traditions are what kept us alive,” he said firmly. “We do not change easily, because we love strength.”

Bound by the moonlight.

Blue implored. “Traditions are traditions, they were made for a reason, and it isour duty to respect and obey them,” the man spoke sternly. “Times have changed, and so should our rules. These rules were made a thousand years ago, and things are different now," Blue argued, trying to convince them.

"I hope you have started the procedures of spreading our most revered knowledge and ideas already. If we are to discover a permanent culture here, our histories and customs will need to be kept with the highest integrity. Obviously. My statements suggested a little amused wrath at the very thought of abandoning such a holy obligation. " Though clearly, some aspects of the old wisdom carry...complications in their fullest expression." Hendrix raised one curious eyebrow, silently asking me to go deeper. Across his features, a sardonic half-smile played, seemingly enhancing his even more disarmingly insightful quality.

some looked in agreement. Elder Sophia, one of the few women on the council, hid a smile behind her hand. “Outdated traditions?” Elder Hans repeated, his voice dangerous. “Traditions that have kept this Pack alive for centuries?” “Traditions that have kept this Pack stagnant,” Callista corrected calmly. "Traditions that forbid women from training as warriors. Traditions that reject alliances with other Packs because ‘it's not our way’. Traditions that make the Greenfield Pack one of the smallest and weakest Packs in the region.“

Forcefully Wedded, Ruthlessly Loved By The Billionaire Mafia

“If you want to own me. Don’t hesitate. You have to make sure to always give me what I want and make sure I’m satisfied.” She didn’t respond, she just stared at me. “You will be the one to do the chasing, for some reasons I can’t chase you. It’s forbidden here, even though I badly want to chase you, hold you in my arms and be able to kiss you everytime I set my eyes on you, I can’t. Our tradition does not allow it because they see it as weakness.” “And the same way our traditions forbids this, is the same way it forbids us from starving our wives their needs. Wherever we are, no matter what we are doing. Whenever our wives wants sex and attention, we have to give it to them.”

Mated to the Enemy: Imprisoned by Mate Bond

“Unbreakable. Or so we thought.” This is the first time she has spoken about him without bitterness or sarcasm. I stay silent. “He wasn’t always like this,” she continues. “He built this territory from almost nothing. People feared him. Respected him.” “And now?” “And now,” she says softly, “he’s fading. He is fading because of a practical Lucius used on him.” “Do they really believe a ritual will fix it?” I ask. Macy’s jaw tightens slightly. “Some of the elders do. They cling to tradition like it’s oxygen.”
