A perfect life was indeed a joke. When you were on the verge of dying, science believed that you would have seven minutes of brain activity left. That was how your brain would flashback memories in a dream sequence. People went from dreaming about the future but would later find themselves visualizing the past instead. And for that, they missed what is currently in the present. It was how I precisely felt right now. It was like I had to be completely alone while traveling to a place far away here and not to the exact place I would wish to go. It wasn’t the same place where I could feel free, safe, and secured.

I started getting flashbacks of last night. I remembered how I was all over them, kissing them one by one, and how I wanted them to serve me. I remembered how Lily was brought in, and how I refused to go with her, forcing them to serve me using my forgiveness as the price. How could I decide to forgive them just because we all had sex? Am I completely losing my mind? Why are the images of everything we did together flashing through my mind? My cheeks felt so hot, and everywhere in the room also felt uncomfortable. How can I remember scenes like that? I don't want to remember anything about this, but it's hard for me.

There was a pause on the other end, and I could almost picture the worry in his eyes. "Do you want to talk about it?" I hesitated, the memories of the nightmare still vivid in my mind. "It was..." I sniffled, wiping my face as I sat on the edge of the tub leaning towards the toilet, and tried to breathe. "I... I had a flashback earlier. I-I didn't think anything of it, but it was... it was so much worse in the dream. I kept trying to run but I couldn't get anywhere..." I sniffled. "I couldn't..."

My finger right by the trigger, ready to fire the bullet, ready to kill him, end him, remove him from our lives like he never existed. But my mind was playing tricks on me because my eyes didn't see the monster; My eyes saw someone else. They saw that little defenseless boy. I feel myself drowning because of these cavities of really strong emotions affecting me and confusing me as to why I am feeling this way towards this man named Harry Scott and how he affects me too much easily. Visions. Too many of them, one after another kept playing right in front of me as my heart continues to maim. The images played like a short film in my head and there were too many special memories that I was seeing which aren’t only vivid but absolutely unmistakably clear. It was too frightening and shocking as I see them one by one. Everything played like it was on fast forward from the beginning to the end.
