JADED

JADED

She had long black hair that touched her waist and that was all most people had seen of her. But, some people had seen than that. They had seen her fingers and her nails which were always painted black and were always covered by gloves. Some had seen her eyes which were always surrounded by black shades of eye shadow and her lips that seemed blacker each time you looked at it. But, none had noticed those bright blue irises that sparkled whenever she smiled. Neither had anyone seen her smile. They all knew her name and all she did but most of them would never recognize her if she wore a color other than black. She was Jade Adler, the Gothic troublemaker who had almost burned down the school d

His Human Luna

His Human Luna

I mumbled. A knock came on my door and a vibrating slave walked in to take back the food. While I was finishing up to return to the infirmary, Aztec probed my mind and I allowed him access. “She is awake” That was the only thing I needed to hear before I raced back there. Bursting into the room I was met with a still-sleeping Jade. Was this some kind of stupid Prank? Rodor was beside me before I could ask any more questions.

I was intrigued when reading the first chapter. The pace of the plot and the characters had me hungry for more. I didn’t want to stop reading. I definitely want to add this book to my library and continue to read until I know what happens.

This was a good story. Nice character growth. I was glad that the miscommunication didn't last for half of it. Actual communication with the MCs!! I would say it just needs a little bit of editing. I enjoyed this story and can't wait to see what happens to ------ and her mate. (No spoilers hehe)

Quest In A Soul Land

he pointed at the chairs with bloodied spirit masters shackled and looked at the duo. "These are blood tokens formed from a shard of Jade Mother. Jade Mother is a highly sought-after piece of the mineral. Once you drop your blood on the token, the largest chunk of the Jade Mother will hold your name over its surface. In case you die at the hands of the enemy, your name will be removed from the jade. Of course, now is the time to reveal your name, or a title you want yourself to be represented as." Chen looked at the circular green token and thought for a moment. He never was good with nicknames so he shrugged, "Ultimate Grandson."

Who's The Loser Heir?

Who's The Loser Heir?

"She knows that if she can break Sensei Gordan, she can break the spirit of the Kartel’s veteran base." "Then we don't let her," Jax declared. "We’re supposed to be heading to Townsville, but we can't leave Metro City with a serpent in our midst. We’re going to hunt her down, and we’re going to do it the Krauser way." Back at the dojo, Jade was already at her terminal, her fingers flying across the keys as she began to map Kitana’s digital footprint. The "Severed Thread" technique, the neural-link enhancements, the connection to Peony—it was a complex web of personal vendetta and global conspiracy.

The Alpha’s Quest

The Alpha’s Quest

she asked, her voice soft yet commanding. I nodded my head, my heart pounding with a mixture of trepidation and anticipation. The High Priestess was a revered figure within the pack, known for her profound knowledge and spiritual insights. She wouldn't be in my pack if it wasn't important. I just hoped all was fine. As she stepped into my chamber, her presence filled the air with a sense of ancient wisdom. She carried an ornate staff entwined with intricate carvings that seemed to shimmer with otherworldly energy.

Alpha Sage

Alpha Sage

Just when I thought I was winning, Xavier pushed me back harder till I landed on the ground heating my head. Nyx winced in pain blood sizzling down. *You think you are strong huh?” His voice was loud in my head. I growled as his claws scratched my fur. Nyx snared in pain trying to fight back but his grip was tight. “You are no Enigma… Once an Omega always an Omega, don’t you ever forget that.” His canines sunk into my throat, Nyx howling in pain as everything started fading. "Sage..." I whispered as though I could feel him but couldn’t tell.

Sinful Desires: Fatal bonds

Sinful Desires: Fatal bonds

She felt her undead body begin to freeze, felt the hunger that had defined her existence turn to ash. "Tell me," Jade said, "does it hurt?" Vex could not answer. She was already dead. The priests fell next. Orin's blind eyes were wide, his illusions useless against the truth of Jade's power. He felt his magic shatter, felt the mountain's warmth fill him and then turn cold. "You were the architects of this infiltration," Jade said. "You wove the illusions that made my people blind. You deserve a special fate." Orin opened his mouth to speak. Ice formed on his lips.

System Quest Save Villain Father

System Quest Save Villain Father

Even though I was much shorter than Dad, only reaching his knees, I still reached out my hand and tried my best to shield him. "Dad, don't worry. I'll protect you!" His eyelashes fluttered, and his body shook for just a second. After a bit, he could not help but sigh softly. "Silly girl..." "Kiddo, the villain's darkening level has dropped from 100% to 70%!" The system's words made me let out a relieved breath. Maybe this meant Dad was feeling a little better? Before I could figure it out, Grandpa's face turned stormy because he felt embarrassed. He finally turned his attention to me.

Playing with the Enemy

Playing with the Enemy

There was little to no information on the little mafia don, except what was in the government database. But I could track him live, and that’s what I was doing. From now on, any move he made was mine for the taking, and the using. If he didn’t get my message clearly enough, that is. As for my Jade. Someone was covering him. He had found another protector, someone who had access enough to keep my jewel off the radar. But it didn’t matter. He would come to me. He had to. My basket was the last offering I would give.

System Quest 2.0: Harvest My Family's Regret

System Quest 2.0: Harvest My Family's Regret

"Audrey, what's taking you so long? What kind of stunt is he pulling this time?" Mom and Dad walked in right behind them. Audrey completely tuned them out, wrapping her arms tightly around my body and staring at me blankly, looking utterly devastated. Beside her, Ethan held my hand and sobbed. "Noah isn't going to die," Dad said with a cold sneer, glaring at my body like I was a total stranger. "Owen said he'd seen it with his own eyes. He learned some kind of black magic back in that village, something about bringing the dead back to life. This is just him stealing our life expectancy!"
