Anastasia screamed, her voice ringing out, full of raw rage. “You did nothing for Stanmore Global. Rather, you were tolerated, and it was a privilege for you to have worked here,” Marceline said sharply, her words hitting like a slap. “What… privilege?” Anastasia’s face trembled, her lips quivering as if the word itself had broken her spirit. She couldn’t believe Marceline had said that working here was a privilege for her. “Don’t block my path again,” Marceline warned coldly instead of answering her, and this time she moved past with fast, steady steps, refusing to waste another breath.
