Looking at her, Alice was severely disoriented. Mia threw me a look seeing the same thing. There was a furrow between her brows. "What do you mean you don't remember what happened?" She questioned. "It must've been the fall." Roman added. But Alice shook her head. "I didn't fall off a mountain. I mean I barely have any broken bones or fractures. It's—" She pressed against her temples. "It's my mind. It's like it's a blur, like it's scrunched up in my head."

" I do not know how. Do not know what to do. Do not know how to fix what I just broke. All I know is that I just lost her. And this time it might be permanent.

She giggles. If I don’t tell her what happened, she’ll have suspicions and I’ve learned Belle doesn’t stop until she gets not only her answers but her way as well. “Hmm I had a mental breakdown on our way here, that’s why we were a little late. My brain shutdown and focused on one thing, like a core memory that I sort of -may have forgotten how to breathe when it happened.” I confess.

It was now I was beginning to regain my consciousness. I saw myself waking up on my bed inside my room, which was impossible because I didn't remember driving home after having that much drink last night. I faintly opened my eyes turning to the alarm to see what time it was, and to my surprise, I had actually slept through the whole day. It was midday already. I stood up and went to mirror, I was a mess. I sobbed in disbelieve that I would ever end up like this. I let myself get played.

Andien complained. Instead of thinking about Kenan's rejection, Andien decided to close her eyes. Andien did not know that Mark had arrived and was talking to Kenan outside the treatment room. "What happened?" Mark asked after handing over the bag Irah had given him. "I don't know. The doctor said Andien's headache was caused by an earlier collision," Kenan replied. "A bump?" Kenan nodded silently. Kenan hadn't stopped regretting his actions since the doctor said that the possible cause of Andien's headache was a previous collision that hadn't been treated to the maximum.
