Cold Friction
The friction was a sudden, electric jolt that short-circuited the air between us.
"You did," I breathed, leaning in until my mouth was inches from his wet ear. I could feel the frantic, rabbit-fast pulse beating desperately in his throat. "You broke your precious rules. You submitted to my play. And you liked it."
"I hated it," Julian choked out. His voice was trembling, entirely stripped of its usual robotic calm. He twisted his wrists against my grip, but his struggles were weak, betraying the exhaustion he was desperately trying to hide.
