Driftwood was scattered along the beach. I bend over to pick up rocks sticking out of the sand. The waves crashed beside me softly as the water soaks my toes. He couldn’t have picked a better day to bring me here. I see Ben over at the bike, open the trailer attached to the back of his motorcycle has begun unpacking, pulling out a tent and other camping gear. “Are we sleeping here tonight?” I shouted. I am not particularly fond of tent camping, but maybe it won’t be so bad with him.

“Yes… use me… I’m your wasteland cumdump… fill me until I break…” The main camp came into view, a sprawling settlement of reinforced bunkers, rusted vehicles turned into shelters, barbed wire fences, and multiple flickering fires. Hundreds of “survivors”— all powerful members of the Midnight Club in their post-apocalyptic costumes, turned to watch as I was paraded through the center like a captured prize. Kane threw me into the middle of the largest breeding pit, a deep, sand-filled arena surrounded by cheering men and a few dominant women. The ground was already stained from previous days of use.

The horizon was a jagged smear of charcoal gray and bruised violet. For three years, I had walked toward it, guided by nothing but the rumors whispered in the hushed, terrified voices of dying scavengers. They spoke of a place that held the line, a fortress of humanity amidst the rotting sprawl of the walking dead. They called it "Haven."

The message read: "Morning babe, hope you slept well and dreamt of me. I enjoyed our camping trip and hope we can do it again." I sighed. Days into our "alone" time, Nicole suddenly requested us to go camping, even though I had to agree because she made it an issue, and I didn't want any problems. To answer her texts, I did not enjoy camping; it was quite stressful. From climbing up the hill with heavy loads on my back to staying up all night in the camp because those mosquitoes wouldn't quit disturbing me. Nicole slept like a baby inside the tent, and I had to stay up, guarding the place because I felt paranoid about the whole environment.

As we go further north, that same action is going to seem somewhat suspicious as it will still be fairly cold by human standards the closer we get to our destination. But our wolves are calmer when we’re in commune with nature. It will only help Ryder if we sleep outside tonight and as much as possible in the coming weeks. It will help ground Ryder and calm his wolf. Best of both worlds. We get take out from a little deli and set up camp at the far edge of a rather deserted camping area. Infact, the only other car that we see there is of a group of older teens who are packing up and preparing to leave.

He was actually singing pretty well. So, currently, we are all sitting around the night fire in an open ground, singing, dancing and playing games after having dinner. Earlier in the evening, we together made 14 tents for us to sleep at night and after that Mr Alberty and some guys together made the night fire in the center. Apparently, Eric is Adonis's tent mate tonight, together with another guy called Stephen. And I guess Adonis hasn't liked it. By the way, I got another really bad news. I've to stay inside a tent with two girls tonight. Anyway, I decided I'm not sleeping. I'll just lie down and stay awake. I can't afford to have the girls find out my real identity.

That night, I attended a pool party hosted by the hotel, sipping cocktails under a warm Bali moon. Looking back, I couldn't believe how deeply I'd let myself be brainwashed by that ungrateful family. If anything, I owed Kaley a debt of gratitude—her antics had opened my eyes to the ugliness of the wolves in sheep's clothing I once called my in-laws.

Two hours pass...... It was a dark, pitch black night in the forest that we had crashed in. The orange intensity of the camp fire pierced the blacken scenery of our rendezvous point. The people who say that camping is a dying pass time clearly never went camping with people who could do the things we can. A shuriken made of ion energy flew around a barrage of wooden sticks with marshmallows on the end falling above the fire. The shuriken slices through the middle of each stick, having the sticks land in the ground allowing the marshmallow side to lean five inches away from the fire.

I asked, squinting my eyes trying to get a glimpse of the stranger. “Oh please I know more than your name bunny, I know everything about you” he said taking two more steps. “So you are a stalker then, how long have you been stalking me?” I panicked as I took more steps back. “I’m not a stalker bunny, I’m your nightmare” the voice said and just like the wind he disappeared into the shadows like he was never there, my heart sank into my stomach as his last words echoed in my head. I’m your nightmare.

The evening sky hung heavy and dark over the deserted street, casting deep shadows over the lonely street of Greenwood. The street lamps flickered weakly, their light barely penetrating the gloom. Despite the danger, a few brave souls could be seen darting quickly between the buildings, their eyes darting nervously from side to side as they hurried home. Each person seemed to be walking with a sense of urgency as if they knew that the werewolf could strike at any moment. The evening setting was eerie, and it was clear that the street was no place for the faint of heart.
