She did not like it when people interfered with her secrets, and she knew Cass would despise it as well. Hae Mina closed her eyes and soon a dream overtook her. Once again the dream morphed into a nightmare. Nightmare Hae Jae-Woo’s small boney fingers clamped over Hae Mina’s mouth. She bit the inside of her lip to keep from making noise. Tears streamed down her eyes as the blood continued to ooze from her palm. The dream shifted. Hae Mina began to kick and scream as the cop forced her to hold still. “Let me go!” she demanded as she squirmed in the air. Hae Jae-Woo began to struggle in the cops' grips.

No one except the man. The lights flickered. Static buzzed in the bulbs. Electricity crackled. The carriage was plunged into darkness, just a split second of impenetrable black that filled my mouth, my nose, my ears, like thick, dank water, choking me, drowning me. When the lights exploded back into life, I saw it. A sheen of silvery skin on the man's cheek, harsh white reflecting off scarred flesh. It was a brief flicker of a bad dream. A touch of a nightmare; there and then gone again so quickly that I had to blink away the haze, but I knew I'd seen it, I'd seen him .

Her voice was scratchy because of the tears. “Is anyone there, please help!” Jess cried out while running forward. She stopped in her tracks as she heard something. It was someone, no something taking a deep breath. Scratches were heard in the distance. Jess spun around, but she didn’t see anything. The room warped, and i could see faces in the dark... I could see blood on the walls and smoke in the air.

I lifted my stiff legs and inched toward the corner, but my foot landed on something hard and round at the worst moment possible. A sharp, piercing screech rang out beside me. When I quickly lifted my foot to take a look, I noticed it was a bloody eyeball, which gave me such a fright that I recoiled back several steps. This was something I would normally only see on late-night TV. A ghost skittered over in a twisted, broken crawl, scooped up the eyeball, and popped it back into its socket. To suppress the scream in my throat, I pinched myself to stay focused, but the ghost had noticed me.
