This time Asher had a firm grip on him while laughing. Asher laughed as he pulled his little mate against his chest. (At least That's the pet name I've heard Asher call my dad since I've been home.) "Easy killer!" Asher said still chuckling then pressed a kiss to the side of my dad's face. Meanwhile, my dad's arms and legs are flailing around. His body's wiggling as he tries to get out of Asher's arms again. My father stood there with his hand over his mouth, trying to suppress a laugh as he watched the scene get crazier.

"It's not like my dad is home. He said he has a meeting with some old-time friends and wouldn't be back till evening.” I exhaled deeply with a shrug and let him be. "But you still have to get back to Michigan for school tomorrow, right?” I quizzed as we neared the entrance. "Who's that?” My dad asked, appearing in our face. Asher grinned with a Japanese bow. “It's Asher. Nice to meet you." My dad furrowed his brow and stared long at him. I looked back at Asher. He seemed puzzled too. "Is there a problem, dad?” I asked.

Dad growled lowly glancing at Asher's shattered phone. "I wouldn't say anything." Asher stood to his full height, taller then dad, his voice boomed. Power and authority laced in every word.Dad paled as he glanced at me."Don't you dare look at her." Asher screamed furious. Dad looked back at Asher.

Please excuse me " He said before walking away. A few seconds later, he returns to extend the cell phone towards Julian. " Your Dad wants to speak with you " " My dad? Is he ... " She received the cell phone to hear some crackle, and then the steady voice of Mr Atlas came through. " Julian? "

I nodded and continued eating. Dad Soon cleared his throat, gaining our attention. "Now that you're stable, I think it's time we talk about your wedding" My spoon dropped, creating a loud sound. My what? My gaze instantly went to my dad. He seemed different. He had outgrown his beards, his hair was also lengthy, falling messily on his shoulders, his eyes were an unfamiliar dark green while his jaw was always clenched.
