The once full blood moon is starting to become a waning gibbous. I always preferred a waxing gibbous. My chest is tight and it feels as if something is trying to claw its way out. I look away from the window and instead sit on my bed and stare at the ceiling. I barely slept because of the strange feeling.

Then came a faint glow where blue had been before. A heavy hush had settled, though the red moon wouldn’t rise until later. Its tug whispered through everything, much like soreness before it showed. He looked my way. Ronan shifted his gaze toward me. Frost edged his gaze as morning light arrived. That pale blue shifted, alive under the day's first breath. Silver bled into grey without warning. “You’re stronger than you were yesterday,” he said quietly. “That’s enough for now.” Fingers brushed across my forehead, pushing dampness away.

The soft glow of her bedroom lanterns reflected off her ash-blonde hair, which she had twisted into a perfect, messy bun, with short curls framing her round face. Her pale purple eyes sparkled, flecked with hints of silver—a distinct mark of being Moon-Kissed. Soon, she thought, her mate would see her as she saw herself: beautiful, unique, a prize worthy of any Alpha’s daughter.

I said, laughing disdainfully, “I will take revenge on you, tear you to pieces!” Rowan grinned, saying mockingly, “I look forward to your return, your majesty!” As soon as his words fell off his mouth, his arm swiftly and accurately pierced my chest, precisely digging out my heart. Blooms of blood appeared on the bed sheet, like some kind of cruel artwork. “Moon Goddess, please give me a chance to be reborn!” I silently pleaded, just before my heart was harvested. At this moment, the dazzling full moon suddenly emitted a blinding white light.

I looked at Lunaya and she started back at me. “Does it?” I asked her, “I... I don’t know. It could be. I have never been able to decipher that part. But it makes sense that it is speaking of a place” she answered with a half nod. “There is no other pack that references the three phases of the moon. There is of course Crescent Wolf and Waning Wolf, but they only name one part of the cycle. Tri-Moon names all three. It would make a lot of sense” Roe said to Lunaya and myself.

Stephen smirked. “Yeah you’re right. This place fits me well.” They all talked for a while but now it was getting dark the moon was coming out. “We should probably go inside.” Greg said. “I think the supper’s also ready.” Stephen told. Dara kept on looking at the moon. It seemed as the most beautiful thing she has ever seen. Ellen shook Dara, “Come on honey it’s getting dark and cold.” Dara went inside with her family but she wished to stare at that beautiful thing for a little longer.

He was rough in a way that was the direct opposite of Adrian and it made me question what type of friends they were. He had long shoulder-length dirty blond hair, but attractive in his own right. “We kind of met before,” I mumbled. “So what’s going on?” “Ray, Adrian’s family owns Moonlight. I should have told you before, but it wasn’t my place and he doesn’t like everyone to know. We had to take care of some last-minute business.” Trinity spoke up looking back between me and Adrian as he nodded.

He was a healthy boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. I passed the boy to Alpha Damien to clean him up as I turned my focus to Michelle. The moon reached its peak as the female was born. I called to Selene and the moon turned blue before she descended to earth. We clasped hands and began the incantation to seal her powers. The wind picked up as we finished the spell. She turned to her beloved creatures and smiled, then faded and returned to the moon. I quickly put the blinding spell on the female and watched as they cra

Kael and Ruby stood just beyond the circle, warding glyphs drawn beneath their boots, weapons ready, shoulders tight. The child within her shifted. Not a simple kick. A surge. Power rippled through Zara’s spine, unfurling through her veins like molten metal. She hissed and staggered. "She’s responding to the moon," Ruby murmured. "But it’s too soon. The alignment wasn’t supposed to peak until next week." Zara's skin lit with lunar sigils, glowing from beneath as if her bones remembered an older magic. Her breath grew shallow.
