She had never trained, so she just followed along with the others. Alani corrected her stance a few times. Polly and Trisha stretched with them, making sure they did exactly what Alani said. "If it brings us more trouble, then let it come. We'll be ready for anything." Zaiden reassured her. He looked at Gunnar, who nodded. He needed to know that the Shadow Howlers would have his back.

He mirrored back, “Come on.” With that, he walked out of the room and I achingly followed. I stopped where he stood in a huge living room. The woman stood at the center while two girls sat on the sofa. One seemed to be around Sinister’s age while the other looked around eighteen. Vitaly leaked casually at the side with folded arms and a wicked smile. “Please, Jude, get Miss Grey something to drink.” The woman instructed one of her employees. “I’m fine,” I stated. I wasn’t going to accept drinks from strangers. Not again.

"Ah! Someone, come quickly! Get this bloody prop out of here!" Sally's hysterical scream interrupted Quilton just as he was walking toward me. The moment he heard the word "prop", Quilton snapped back to his senses. Sally clung tightly to Quilton's clothes. She looked terrified as she buried herself in his arms. "Holly is too much, preparing gruesome props like this. Quilton, you know I faint at the sight of blood," she whined.

A man stepped out of the darkness with unnerving calmness, as if he had been waiting for her there all along. Claire stopped so suddenly she nearly stumbled. Her eyes went wide as she recognized the figure standing before her. "Arthur?" Her voice came out hoarse, barely audible.

The woman offers an understanding nod and takes a step back. "Very well, I will be waiting right outside the door," she assured me. But right before she steps out, she pauses, turning back to offer one last gentle reassurance. "My name is Yolly, Miss Raegan. I am the one tasked with looking after you here, so if you find yourself needing absolutely anything at all, please do not hesitate to call for me." She offers a warm, maternal smile, but I simply track her with a dead, unreadable stare until she finally steps out.

The vapid blonde secretary entered holding his tea in her hands,he couldn't help but stare,his heart hammered continuously on his chest. Sally realized this and her hands begun to shake ,she couldn't fathom the reason her boss was staring at her like a hawk ,she felt riples of fire crawling on her skin and she gulped. She quickly placed the tea at his desk and scurried towards the door. “Sally”he called her with his voice teetering between desperation and confusion. “Yes” She muttered. “Will you have coffee with me?” TBC ……

Dark Shadow tightened his grip around the blonde ankle and lifted her off the ground twirling her around before flinging her towards the nearest pillar.
