Both of them turned toward the window just as a shadow moved in the darkness. Enzo grabbed Sienna, his voice sharp. “Get down!” The crack of gunfire echoed through the room as chaos erupted around them.

"Together." Alric moved further, his familiarity with old writings helping him to interpret the glowing letters carved onto the walls. "The shadows feed on fear and doubt," he explained.
