I smiled sheepishly. "No." He nod. "Let's get you something to eat then."

I stared at it, too shocked to pull my arm away. When she was done, she brought her hands to my face, pressing them at the corners of my mouth until she stretched it into a smile. “Is it true that you’re grumpy all day?” Grumpy? A chuckle escaped me. The girl gave a satisfied nod and ran off again. Jumpie let out a squeaky sound, making me look up at her. She puffed up her cheeks as if she were mimicking me. “That’s not true,” I muttered. “I don’t look like that.”

Had I caused one of the only people I truly cared for to lose all affection for me? I jumped, recoiling back a step when he turned to look at me; a strange glint in his eye. Something that would send fear rushing into the mind of even the most fearless of people, something ... Dark, unnatural. Taking a soothing breath, I looked closer; pushing the fear that had began to surface back into the far corners of my mind, my smile appearing flawless; my eyes showing no feeling.

Sam piped up, smiling knowingly at me, an expression which I soon discovered was mirrored by Juliette and Beckham too. "And what makes you think that?" I asked back. "Maybe because you have your Hawk grin on," Juliette singsong, leaving me confused. "Hawk grin?" "She means that stupid grin you have on your face whenever you're chatting with Hawk," Beckham mused matter-of-factly. "What? I do not have a Hawk grin," I protested. But if they heard me, they didn't show it as they were too busy chuckling to themselves. They've got to be kidding me. Hawk grin? Yeah, right!

he said, with that grin that meant he was already three schemes deep. I giggled. I couldn’t help it—the sound just fell out of me, soft and conspiratorial. Felix’s grin widened until it matched the sun.

Looks like we don’t have time to stay mad after all. I gave them a sheepish smile. "Guess not."

His grin was devious, "Anything at all?" I gulped nervously, "Yes anything,"

An awkward smile adorned her beautiful face when she turn around. "I still don't have a business card" She scratches her head with a sheepish grin. "And you have the audacity to act cheeky" Lia rolled her eyes. ****tbc****

Grian tilted his head sidewards and grinned. “Of course. I don’t want my boss getting mad at me for not going to work,” she said and cunningly grinned. Grian smirked and nodded his head. “Is this flirting?” he asked directly and she laughed and shook her head. “Oh please, this ain’t enough to be called flirting,” she answered and he smirked.

The man pursed his lips at the question and shrugged, more to himself than to the woman next to him, before replying. "It was alright." He sighed into the air with a small smile playing on his lips. A genuine smile from Ash wasn't necessarily a common sight to see as he usually faked a grin to satisfy the people around him, but when he did truly smile, it was something worth waiting for. "It was like any other day, I guess." His face fell slightly as the thoughts of his mother he had at the shop circled back to him. He bit his lip before turning to the woman beside him fully.
